Hey guys, I'm not sure if it's just my stang but after owning a few cars with heated seats I'm a bit disappointed with the heat produced by my pony, I doubt if there's a way to make it hotter but compared to my kia sportage's heated seats I'd say level 3 on the stang is about a 1 on the kia's... Any advice or should I go to ford with my complaint... :ford:

They are not that good, put it on highest setting and it takes ages to get to a point where you think my back is getting warm now.

My heated seats work excellent. They burn my ass if I leave them on high. The cooled seats work mediocre.

I don't know how they work but I've had problems with the heating anyway, the cooled seats feel like you have a wet arse

I would suspect they work better on cloth seats than leather...that is not unusual.

VW does it. Brother has heated cloth in his 2010 GTI.

I've had heated seats in several cars and makes. The Mustangs are the most effective. After 5 minutes on high I have to dial back to low in order to not ignite my pants! Perhaps the convertible gets heavy duty warmers?

I had a 15 convertible and the seats got nice and hot. From owning quite a few new cars in recent years Chrysler seems to do heated seats and steering wheel the best. Subaru sucks at it.

I have Recaros, so no heat in my stang, but I will say that I traded my jeep for and audi and the audi's heated seats are terrible in comparison. So it's not just the stang.

Same here, but I park mine in the winter so I never really had cold seats.
