It is probably safe to assume PP2 will include MagneRide which requires drive modes which need at least 301A.
EDIT to add another thought on the PP2
If you don't actually want MagneRide and incrementally larger wheels then your best bargain for a more track capable car may be to get either the base GT or the base GT with PP and add whatever other parts you want such as wider wheels, different springs/bars, and coolers.
