I've been following a R order that as coming into a local dealer for the last 3 months, and it's finally arrived. 3 months ago, the dealer wanted $20K over plus required a $10K non-refundable deposit for the car . I was not willing to do that, so figured I'd just keep an eye on the car for when it hit the ground.

Well fast forward to a few days ago... Car finally arrived, so I checked their website and they had the car listed for $30K over!!

I called a friend of mine that also has a GT350 (he bought his at this dealer also) and he stopped by on Saturday.. and they told him they wanted $40K over!! He could tell they were pumped up as they told him they have received dozens of calls on the car.

Checked their website today and now they are indeed up to $40,000 over!! Yep, for a measly $108,395 this car can be yours!!:crazy:

Needless to say, neither of us are interested. And if you think you're going to talk reason into this dealership anytime soon, I don't believe anyone will walk away with a deal unless they are willing to pay a higher than average mark-up.

Glad I got my order in months ago for a 2018. It would drive me nuts trying to find one now.

One of the Vegas or LA dealers has made over $250k selling GT350s (that's from ADM ALONE, off of 11 GT350s). My brother is in the dealership industry and can see this data. Last he looked was last year too. So that dealer's probably made over $350k by now. Hopefully Ford limited the allocation for that stealership.

Expected especially after the production announcement for 2018. I am certain that the prices will not drop anymore. For new that is. Good luck on your hunt but I believe the time for what many found as acceptable ADM's are gone!

I think they will drop again. Once the GT500 is announced and/or MY19 for the GT350 is confirmed, prices will go down. Just my opinion, but it makes sense to me.

Sure! The next halo car will affect pricing. However, the GT500 is pure speculation at this point. Almost a year out of production the world had eyes on the GT350. I don't think we will see much of anything till 2019 or we would have seen it by now.

A local dealer in my state has an R with a $50K ADM. I believe it's the only '17 GT350R currently for sale in the state. If you think ADMs are bad in Cali, try living in a state in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. LOL

Last thing I wish to do is defend a car dealership........but you can't really blame them. We have a free market system and if people were unwilling to pay the ADM, the prices would go down.
Issue with 350R is there are so few, a dealer has the luxury to sit on the car for a while as it is not ludicrously expensive to begin with. Dealer probably has 10+ trucks on the lot with higher MSRP than a 350R.....

You expect R's to be listed at $108K now because they announced that they are bringing production back to 2016 #'s? I mean, I love the R, but lets be realistic with this.

Good luck on my hunt? I clearly stated that I have a R order locked in already. There are other cars I would buy for $100K over the GT350R at that price, as would most.

Seems like a lot of hype to me, but hey, I hope they are now $108K all day long with these "crazy low" numbers in 2018!!

This is the same dealer that had a 2016 Magnetic with blue strips and no electronics pack. only 1 of 2 built that way. They wanted $350k for it.

Just 30 miles south you have this one.

So that's 60k over or just about double.

People have too much money in the Seattle area.

You're first word in response to this thread is "Expected", if you are not saying you expected the high price then what is it you were expecting? You certainly left that up to interpretation and based on the subject of the thread it fits. Please, do enlighten us to what you are saying.

And thank you for your tongue-in-cheek good luck on getting my R, classy! Hey, you got yours, everyone else may not and if so, they should be paying $108K now!!

I hope you don't wreck yours, I doubt you'd be lining up to pay $108K for one but believe yours is worth every penny? Laughable.
