I still prefer the silver rims. Sorry, I just am not a fan of black wheels. I guess it's my heritage - I started driving in the early 60s and aftermarket wheels were chrome or silver were the order of the day - and I still love the look.

I used to feel that way, and then there is brake dust.

I agree, and to be honest I'm not crazy about the black rims on OF but they look better than the two Ford silver wheels I've seen on it. I'd really like to see OF with Satin Graphite Projeect6GR wheels. I'm thinking non-glossy gun metal type wheels will look good.

Yes, I agree about the black wheels. I'm going to change them out when the other wheels become available. Not sure which ones though.

I just hate all of Fords black rims. thry need to be beefier and simpler, like a 5 spoke. I don't like all the thin spokes. I've seen other cars with thicker more basic design and it looks tougher and better. Ford tried I guess with the black package wheels but they look cheap and meh.

Me too! I'm so happy with my purchase and I haven't even seen an '18 in person yet! Just with all the goodies you get now makes it so worth it. It looks miles better than the chevy digital cluster. Take note Chevy!!!

The active exhaust is standard on GT. But why load up the car with just about everything? A fully loaded new 2018 GT auto us 3960 lbs, coupe. The new model is 45-70 lbs heavier than the 2015-17's..... If your after max speed/acceleration, lighter is better. The base 14" brakes are the former Brembos on tne old track package of 2011-2014.... they just took the Brembos name off.

TomcatDriver - You've got a point with the brake dust. It is a pain. The car can be reasonably clean but the wheels look very dirty.

All black wheels are an aweful fashion thing that is rapidly going away. Check all the videos covering the IAA in Frankfurt and you'll see 99% of the new models now have wheels with silver or polished edges and only black parts in the inside of the spokes and in the barrels.

I don't think that it's the color but the fact that Ford managed to design a 19" wheel that looks like a 17".

By making it black you basically mask this.
