  1. Hi & Decision Time

If you have a good local mechanic then buy the cheapest V8 you can find. They all go wrong, gearboxes are much of a muchness, and it's simply the looks and sound that counts.
  2. Mach 1 Globally available - Possibly:

It's the one to have (until the s650 comes along).
  3. Leak!! Area behind passenger flooded with water

If Ford make their electric Mustang as leaky as lots of S550's are, then the company will go bust. No one wants water sloshing around near 400 volt batteries.
  4. Passenger side floor wet

An owner and moderator, kristen, over in the UK section bought a leaky GT, new from Ford. He ended up with Ford fitting two massive wiring looms as the water was corroding the connections. He might have some good advice for you.
  5. Rant time...what's the worst thing about your Mustang?

The worst thing about a Mustang is that I can't afford one. 6 Dacias = 1 Mustang at UK pricing.
  6. Coffee thrown in car while driving!

Throwing coffee seems babyish, not like I imagine Texans to be.
  7. New Ford Raptor !

10 Best Engines>2018 10 Best Engines 2018 Winner: Ford Mustang GT 5.0L DOHC V-8 After a one-year hiatus, a V-8 is back on our list and deservedly so in the form of the Mustang GT 5.0.
  8. New Ford Raptor !

No V8 by Jan 15 2018? Not exactly Nostradamus are we? Seems like you continually post with a venomous hatred of V8s. The truth is the V8 in the Mustang is a wonderful engine, especially the new Mk3 Coyote.
  9. Coffee thrown in car while driving!

Perhaps a wasp had landed in his coffee and he was just throwing it away. Seeing his mistake he then drove away quickly so as not to exacerbate the situation, Officer.

You could vote against this, but according to its Court of Justice, the EU represents "a new legal order of international law", so stuff all you little men. The barstewards.

  14. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

A recent patent by Ford possibly shows the interior of the s650. If your car crashes whilst you are sitting glugging beer at the internal bar table then air bags will deploy. See here...
  15. EU specs / options / schedule

12 days to go then we can see the prices and order properly (I hope). Come on Ford, don't overprice the halo. Especially as the RS crown has slipped away with knackered engines.
  16. 15 auto trade for manual?

I passed my test in 1974 and have driven manuals ever since. I hate them. Faffing around with a porridge stirrer and squashing a rat with your left foot every few yards is just crackers when the technology has existed for donkey's years to do the job of selecting gears whilst you just get on...
  17. Almost 60K for Loaded 2018 GT

If you look at old reviews of what we would call muscle cars that term does not get mentioned. For example caranddrivers review of the 1967 GT500... http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/1967-ford-mustang-shelby-gt500-road-test Super car, but not muscle car. I suspect the term muscle car came...
  18. Potential first time mustang buyer looking for other member opinions

Buy one in Germany and just drive it home (via ferry).
  19. Is it worth $5690 to get Magneride or not?

We seem to get a strange mix up of PP and premium bits as standard. The options are few and far between. But we can order Magneride as a one tick option.
