I gotta say, it does look great rolling, and that ass on it is way better than current, amazing what a slight change to a diffuser but mainly how the crescent concaved lights make the whole rear just look wider.

My order is now official.

Changed to another dealership due to Stoke simply not willing to drop everything for me, might sound pedantic but when a customer wants to spend best part of 40-50k with you and you know they are an enthusiast you should be chasing the customer, not opposite way round.

So switched my order to Nottingham brand that becomes a Fordstore in November (open day) and will be UK's largest store with room for 60 cars on the roof (already asked about a Summer meet BBQ). Some will know the chap as Aaron Borg as I believe he is a member here but is in the Facebook groups and has come to several meets. He has also ordered one too and both our cars are together so will ship at same time and our build slot is December which should be circa Feb/March delivery.

Though Vista was not showing all the options we reckon their should be it accepted the order which was:
- V8 Fastback coupe
- Orange fury
- 10-speed
- Custom Pack 4 (System was defaulting spoiler (which I don't want), centre console leather when custom pack). As such once finer details are known I might just add the parts I want separately as I don't like the big wing.
- Recaro seats
- Climate option for seats, we believe this is an error, but we selected it anyway just in case, but were confident its just a mistake on the tables within Vista.
- Adaptive dampers (magneride)
- Black roof

Default spec is unknown, Vista is not revealing anything. But it is pretty clear that exports in RHD are:
- Performance Package (minus strut brace & PP gauges)
- No idea if RHD export is 3.55 torsion, though it is believed to be so as only one 10-speed rear-end option for all cars worldwide.
- Heated wheel
- Pony Mybutton
- Active exhaust
- Digital dash with premium leather interior though minus centre console leather unless you pick custom pack
- PS4s tyres on GTs
- Quad tips on GTs
- SYNC 3, Shaker and all that stuff
- Pricing info should be 11th October, Aaron agrees on my thoughts that a V8 base will be 39k.


Kona and Crimson are still not selectable, hence proof the tables are not fully filled in, Ford UK are saying Vista will be 100% finalised next Monday, but people wishing to be first can get early orders in now, well as of first thing this morning actually, but kept it to myself until I knew my order was in.

My gamble is 39k base plus the cost of the options, so around 45k all in.

Looking at the Frankfurt pictures, for me the silver wheels don't really work with the orange. Don't think they would look good on any of the lighter colours either. Can't believe forged black are not an option or the 7-spoke GT350R look-a-like wheels - I think they're forged too.

However, I got a set of 18" Compomotive Motorsport rims refinished the other day from silver to gloss black. They look awesome. £240 including re-fitting and balancing of tyres - so that would be a useful Plan B if forged black are not an option.

I am going with them on the basis they don't add too much extra money, I shall then get them re-done with a dark clear coat to make them a much darker polished finish like shadow chrome, see how they look.

If I dislike sell them and fit my current wheels I have or get some 6GR 5 spokes in Titanium.

Yeah it did seem to have a spoiler. So I went with it for now, but I don't want it.

Ford are still updating tables in Vista as Kona and Crimson were not showing either. As now Custom Pack 3 has appeared (just checked). Karen at Ford says it shall be final next Monday.

I just wanted to get my order in and name down, so I am in the queue, the dealership network who did my order own 10 dealerships and they only took two orders today, mine and the sales guy doing my order.

Trustford have sold around 10, Evans Halshaw have also only sold 2 and most if showroom demos, so it just guarantees us a first car, hopefully in time for Mustang 54th Birthday.

Going by the configurator on the US site, I reckon the price in USD will be pretty much the price here in GBP. So I reckon around £45-47k for a manual GT with all the bells and whistles and another £1-1.5k-ish for 10 speed auto. Ford and the dealers are going to have to up their game considerably on all fronts to justify that kind of price - but f:censored:k! .... the car itself looks awesome. If (and it's a BIG if) I order one it will be Ingot, black roof, black 7-spoke alloys if possible, spoiler delete, magneride, active exhaust, Recaros (hence black interior, but would have Showstopper Red if it was an option), proper black OTT stripes (without the fading) ..... mmmmmmm ..... dreamy! :love:

Yeah just get it ordered, you can tweak the spec on 11th October or mid October without losing your build slot.
