(no leather interior) BUT UK HAS DRLS.
Not having leather on the centre console is lesser of the evils for me. If it's part of a package, then they can keep it. I'll happily have it without

No i get that, it was just what was said earlier about it being standard (it's not standard it's a CP item). Trust me, it's minor ;)!

Yep, based on what we saw from Kentmustang, I assumed you were correct

It's great to have the confirmation that all the good new stuff is included in the price. The only extra missing is the magnetorheological suspension, which if it can provide a smoother ride for her indoors and less body roll and dive for me will be worth the extra cash.
It would be nice to have more choice of seat colour though.

Magneride will give you that to an extent. If you leave it in normal mode its design to ride with relative comfort (softer) but the moment you brake hard or throw the car around it will automatically stiffen up to help prevent brake dive and keep the car flatter. In short it only goes firmer if you start being a hero!

I think Ford gives us three modes which I suspect are normal (auto), sport a touch firmer and track firmest. Also in drag most it sets rear firm and front soft to allow for weight transfer to aid traction.

Yes it seems that exports, well at least RHD are premium interior (digital dash) but the extra leather bits only come when goes custom pack and only when the interior is ebony.

Maybe Ford have done this on export models to maybe try to hit a low base price again, we can cross our fingers but active exhaust and digital dash are quite expensive options in US so shall have to see.

Expect Magneride to be around ÂŁ1500 option but worth every penny.

More money for them too, as they can sell it as an extra, etc etc.

What's left, to confirm now? tri-bar sequentials and pricing?

Any word yet on when demonstrators will be available?

I really would like a MY18 and the more I see of them the more I want one, but as I've said previously I need to see one in reality this time around before I decide. Certainly looked good in the two videos Gibbo posted earlier, but that annoying synthesizer sound for the whole video was doing my head in - what's wrong with some actual sound FFS!?

Sequentials?

NO CHANCE! Never expect and pretty much guaranteed we won't be getting.

Pricing wait and see, I am still thinking ÂŁ39,950 for a base V8 with no options.

I think C1 & C2 will be ÂŁ1795
C3 & C4 ÂŁ2500
Rear Spoiler ÂŁ700
Magneride ÂŁ1500
Recaro ÂŁ1500

So depending on base your looking at either a 45k or 50k car with the good options, so its a good 10k more than MY15 was when first released or against todays prices 5k more.

I suppose you could argue Magneride and Recaro were not selected that puts it at just a grand or two more than the outgoing model.

Will have to see.

As I don't need to do the front lights, I shall just get my rears done properly so three brake lights, three sequential indicator like yours. For the front hopefully a company makes a sequential indicator like the Coplus.

The UK price of the '17 was increased quite rapidly at the end of it's sales cycle. I suspect the '18 may actually be a few ÂŁ's cheaper than the final price of the '17. It would make for great reviews and easy marketing.
Why I think a base V8 will be ÂŁ39k area, so they can sit under the magic 40k barrier.

This new cars major rival will be the BMW M2 which when I optioned one up came to 52k with M-DCT and some other options.

There is an M2 CS coming which I've got my eyes on, 405HP and 25kg less than current model which better chassis setup, though I am not much for turbo powered motors it will be a riot and huge fun, plus due to 1000 units limit if I could get one new for 65k area its expected probably fetch 100k six months later, so monitoring that closely. Order banks open January 2018 supposedly and you can give BMW a deposit now, but by no means guarantees you a car. But asked my mate who paid 130k for an M3 GTS a few years back to put me a deposit down as he should get one as he's spent a few hundred grand with said dealer.

Nah i did mean the rears, i'm pretty sure ford guy in that video that they worked around the rears... so i mean, it could be possible, but i'd expected them to have dropped it by now

No the rears are not sequential unfortunately, seen them operating and they function as per the current ones. Not overly fussed as its quite easy to fix and price is not to bad and no condensation risk on the rears.

My buddy just messaged me saying Vista shuts down at 8pm, hopefully tomorrow it will be on there and I can make my order official, he is saying official pricing will be announced 11th October for UK.

Nice audio! ..... liking the new digital dash too. Active exhaust, Magneride, more power - sounds like you can spec up a car this time and not have to worry about any faffing about with after-market add-ons - fantastic. Shame we're missing out on a few horses again. Wonder if we'll get the promised-but-never-appeared official performance packages for the MY18? 20-30bhp increase and maintain warranty would be a nice little present to look forward to :clap2:.
