Gotta base '17 GT, row your own 6-speed, 3.31's out back.
~Car only uses 94 octane w/E10
~Gonna go Michelin Pilot SS 285r18 up front 315r18 back on aftermarket
rims.
-No drag radial/bias/slick. Gotta do this on street skins

There's a certain 1970 Nova I wanna lay the hammer
down on. Runs high 11's on a shot, trailered to the track.. blah, blah.
Man I hate that cocky bastard.

Anyways, what I have so far:
~ JLT cai
~ Diablo inTune2 (should be here Tuesday)

Lots of mods eh? and nowhere near what I need :frusty:

I need recommendations on what else to do.
Prefer H-pipe. I like thumpity over brrrrrrrrrrrap!

Thanks :thumbsup::cheers:
WildHorse... I have followed your thread......

I appreciate the compliment, but according to your thread you posted 3 weeks ago, you don't have the same combination. To make a claim "you will have 505 with a few bolt-ons", is insulting to the ones who have done it or worked hard to get there. Maybe you have confused RWHP with Flywheel HP? While your post is "flattering" I want to keep good information in this thread....

Thanks.....

If you take .15 for drivetrain loss and 525RWHP puts me safely at 604. With that being said, HP and MPH (122.22MPH) calculators with the mph and weight put me right at 600 also. The air is getting better so I would expect the MPH to increase as well. From 2500 to 1800 DA I gained 2 mph. I don't expect that all to come from air, as I launched harder, got a better 60ft, which helps my mph. I would hope to have 125 this fall and hopefully at least a 10.99. :D

Anything else I would consider a bonus.

That's insane as heavy as theses cars are, you are legitimately knocking on the door of having a high 10 second N/A S550. Kudos :ford:

In fairness, is there really a 4 seater car with a v8 and stick that weighs less?

My 300C SRT8 whippled hemi was HEAVY (4600lbs), these cars are average to light IMO

Calling these cars a 4 seater is a pretty good stretch. haha

But yes, with all the safety and convenience features these cars are not ever going to be as light as a Foxbody. For the most part, cars are just heavy today.

yep, EXACTLY my point, and look at all the rage in how "light" the 6th gen camaro is, yet our cars are what 100lbs heavier and everyone says they are "heavy as fck"?

Makes no sense.

I agree with that, but it's also hard to shave any real weight off the s550 without gutting it or spending a pile of money on lightened parts
