I bought the phase I with 670 hp, 3.55 gear A6. Completely stock with drag radials and front runners it went a best of 10.88 at 129.9. My buddy opted for the a6 3.55 727 package. He has not run his at the track however, same day same dyno he put down 580 to my 568. I converted the car to e85 and it picked up 100 hp with a 79mm pulley. It ran 10.40 at 136.78. The car in both stock trim and e85 has great street manners.
Those are great numbers! I've got a friend here in NJ with a Phase 1 w/custom tune and 79mm pulley, SW headers and exhaust, 3.31's A6, Drag Radials and lays down solid 10.5's at 135 on 93 every time down the track.. These Roushes are incredibly reliable and consistent.

That answers my question too. I am in the process of buying a 17 GT w/727 Phase 2 and 3.55 gears. Only thing I'm changing is to Mickey Thompson 305's in the rear. Good to see your enjoying it. Is the power night and day difference?

PM'ed you! Like night and day when you lay on the throttle, but for around town low rpm driving it feels stock, which is exactly what I wanted.

it would take premium 91+ octane.
Depending on your use, drag strip or street driving you dont really have to do anything.

Automatic if you like to visit the drag strip or deal with heay traffic. and manual if you like to shift

I honestly cant say enough good about my 727hp Phase 2 setup. They really thought this out and engineered it well. As mentioned by others, It is completely docile driving in traffic, just like stock. But put your foot into it and you are in a different league. It almost doesnt matter what comes up to you at a stop light, you WILL win. I have gotten into friendly dog fights on the hiway too and its pretty one sided, including porsches, vipers, ferrari's etc. Even rice rockets. There is nothing like seeing the face of a biker after you beat his ass in a car when he finally catches up to you. Its just priceless. Anyway, yes, I highly recommend this package, just be sure to get the latest tune that came out, it fixed a few problems like the occasional skip when not under load, and an erratic idle occasionally. The latest code fixes everything and is flawless.

What #'s are you putting in? Great difference with VMP tunning?
The car was never dyno'd with the roush tune so I'm not sure of the difference in numbers but driveability was just better overall. I just didn't like the throttle response as it felt a bit delayed at times and it would have this weird surge feeling when I let off the throttle sometimes. The new tune fixed all of that for me. As for numbers, it put down 646whp with the VMP tune.

What tires are you using to get 727HP to the ground through 3.73s in 1st and 2nd gears?
Using the Nitto G'2. I'm not saying I'm getting traction in 1st and 2nd but halfway through 2nd, I'm starting to hook up a little bit and 3rd I'm pretty dug in. With those Pirelli's it was a nightmare all the way up through 3rd lol

So you're running the Roush tune still I assume?
