So I've been planning on getting some vertical links, specifically the BMR Spherical bushing ones. However I was inspecting my end links the other day and noticed they're very easy to wiggle around. Seems like the bushing thingy is toast.

Would I benefit first from replacing those and then doing the vert links a little later? This is just for the rear at the moment. Was thinking of getting the BMR adjustable end links as a replacement or the whiteline ones, whichever is available.

I plan on getting the IRS tidied up on the car BEFORE I start looking for more power, and this is where I plan on starting. I got a trip coming up so I can't bundle everything together like I want to.

Thanks for any input.

If the end links are shot, then they need replacing anyway. Adjustable links probably won't get you much.
The vertical links help plant the rear, but it would be best when combined with a cradle lockout, such as the Steeda or BMR.

Yeah cradle lockout is next, I've done a lot of reading so I'm just waiting on a good time to order. Looks like I'll settle for the end links for now since they are cheap and easy.

Is it necessary to preload the rear sway bar when I install them? Or is it better if they are in a neutral position instead of having slight tension on the sway bar?

As for the cradle lockout, I'm just waiting on a good opportunity to order because I'll be combining that with the IRS alignment kit from Steeda. Rather only do one alignment instead of two.

If the end-links are shot, replace those ASAP.

Then we typically do Cradle lock out (CB005) first before the Vert Links (TCA045).

Roger That! End links first.

What's the reasoning behind cradle lockout before vertical links though? Is it absolutely necessary because my logic is based on time consumption needed to do install. Vertical links would be hell of a lot easier to get done on my own vs the cradle lockout, which I'll actually have to plan for.

Because honestly, we see a MUCH larger difference in wheel hop when using the Cradle lock out than the Vertical links.

Kelly makes it a rule to ALWAYS recommend the Cradle first, I being the S197 guy, follow suite with what he recommends.

Okay makes sense to do so. Well once I get the end links sorted I'll have to plan it out on which to do. Definitely on my shopping list from you guys for all three components, just going to be buying separately.

Will likely be ordering the end links tomorrow.

Just get the lockout and links and do them at the same time.
You are going to be under there anyway, why not knock it off all a at once.
Will be cheaper in Labor charges if you need to go to a garage.
