I have had this kit for 7 months, still in box. Will I get the new tune or old one?

You'll get the most recent tune. (FA2)I have had this kit for 7 months, still in box. Will I get the new tune or old one?
I just updated mine tonight. Didn't have an original file (shop didn't use my computer).GR3A-SEMA2M-GP2-VIN-0A99 I'm assuming that's the new one, anyone else do their own install and can post up their calibration for comparison...size of file is 3MB vs 6.6MB of initial tune.
My first suggestion would be to wrap a plastic bag around the filter, but it might be way too easy to forget it's there before you close the hood and start it up.Ok, there has been a lot of discussion about whether or not water can enter the CAI box during parking and driving in the rain / snow... It seems the general concensus is that it won't be a problem. But here's my question: what is the best way to seal up the CAI when washing / rinsing the engine bay?
I posted a K&N filter cover that fits our element a few pages back. Theres a product number and everything.Ok, there has been a lot of discussion about whether or not water can enter the CAI box during parking and driving in the rain / snow... Boys i am from seattle.. and mother nature loves this place with rain.. so don worry abt it.. i have done multiple experiments with it.. water does not go in... until u take a hose do a 40 degreen and shove water inside like full flow.. still only like 20% will go in.My first suggestion would be to wrap a plastic bag around the filter, but it might be way too easy to forget it's there before you close the hood and start it up.
I guess maybe a piece of cardboard cut to fit inside the airbox would help. That and trying not to spray water directly inside, obviously.
Funny you asked this b/c I was just thinking yesterday "I need to detail this engine....it's looking dusty" and the open airbox issue immediately came to mind.
+1 on the K&N cover. I posted a pic a while ago for those interested in seeing how it fits. Also had the part number in there as well. Personally I never experienced a soaked filter after some rain but the cover will help those few drops roll right off.I posted a K&N filter cover that fits our element a few pages back.
