I have this plate on order. Why 42 you ask? When my wife asked me how people were supposed to actually fit in the back seats I told her "nah, this GT is for two (4 2). So it kinda stuck....

Installed the FPR catch can, very easy and looks good

Added extended shifters and red pony decal.

Into third week with my new GT and just a few highlights for the interior. Had the decals from tictail ready to go and the extended shifters from CJ Pony . Having a blast and can't stay out of the "cockpit". Worth the wait!! :amen:

We almost got "PONI42" for the same reason!

After months of deliberation, we ordered "PON113" though.

Finally had the Tri-ax shifter fitted

The gearbox developed an oil leak - front seal I believe so ask the service dept manager if they would fit the Tri-ax whilst the gear box was out.

picked it up this arvo my first impressions are
the shift is short and positive finding the gates is easy although 4th to 5th need to remember to pull across to the right a bit.
at low speed there was an increase in noise into the cabin,
town speed seems normal.

one minor issue was the after market gear knob would only go on about 4-5 turns before the lockout would not allow reverse select, OEM was fine.
played around at home and used some locktight (Blue) see if it takes in the morning.
early days yet so see how it goes.

one observation was I fitted the Steeda Shifter Base Bushing Bracket that was in the box a few weeks ago and it really made the shifts tighter so if anyone was looking to improve the shifts without going to the expense of changing the whole device in my opinion it would be the way to go.
