What would you buy if you didn't have your Stang.

2016 Jeep SRT (had one and loved it)

I considered a lot of cars and fairly varied as well. The front runners were the BMW M2 and Merc A45 AMG but as this might be my last chance to own a V8 (the cheaper price doesn't hurt either) I landed on the Mustang.

I had been looking at 71 Mustangs for a couple of years so maybe bought a 71 Boss 351 or kept my RS Mk2 Focus. The new Mustang appealed to me as it is a modern car and I like a lot of the extras on them, warranty and general ease of use of a new car.

Wouldn't have bought a new car at all. Nothing else really grabs me. I wasn't even planning on getting one, was looking for a 2v/3v, something cheap, as a daily. Went to the dealer with my father to look at a Boss 302 for him, wound up test driving the 16 and couldn't believe how nice they got. Picked up the two cars a week later.
