I Do like the bling you have added Ian b. How did you find the overall fit and finish of the boot pieces?

Boot pieces are OK from a fit perspective, just takes a little while to get everything lined up around the boot latch sections to ensure they still open without catching. Held in place with double sided 3m tape supplied fitted to the parts. Try a dry fit first before you peel the tape.
They are a brushed not polished finish, I got them to protect the boot opening rather than for show as such so the finish is OK too.

On that spare tyre theme... I needed to put a couple of PSI into my wheels on the weekend so I broke out the kit from the spare tyre well and hooked it up.

The F thing won't seal!
Air was just leaking out and there was no way to get it to stop.
Luckily my mate had a real pump in the back of his car which I hooked up and sorted it.

By come on, the brand new pump from Ford won't even work on their own cars?!
I think I'll go chuck it through the dealership window and buy a proper spare.

In the back of my mind somewhere is some note scribbled about there being an adaptor on the pump body that needs to be used. I would've seen the info here somewhere so you can probably find it by searching or go and check your pump and see if I'm right or crazy.

There are two adapters on the back of the pump but neither is right for the car tyre...
The manual says nothing about an adapter anyway.
Spare tyre is where it's at :)

Yeah a spare is the best option and after Sundays fun and games I'm ordering one. Purchased my FG jack kit today from the wreckers for $50 a wheel brace $32 and strap $10. I phoned Tempe tyres today and it's about a 3 week wait as they are waiting on a Bridgestone tyre shipment for the spare. Probably never use it now, but at least I'll have peace of mind
