Am I just being sensitive here, or could someone explain why I receive no interest in anything I post whereas all others do?

If, for some reason I'm not welcome here, please someone say or just delete my profile.

Were you hoping for a 2018 as even October is very early for that?
I was hoping to get MY2017 after September due to financial reasons.
Estimated waiting time by most dealers back in April was 8-9 months.
I didn't want wait too long to put deposit down, though to make sure I'll be getting the one before facelift.

just get the dealer to move their deposit over to a brand new order and order it again with the dealer selling the early car.
I don't think they will agree to do that. It's a risky situation. They would stuck with a car which they may struggle to sell later.
I'll ask the question anyway :)

It's still going to take around 3 months to arrive in the UK from build date
More like 2 months according to signatures, unfortunately :(

Think you are being over sensitive, a lot of these questions can be answered on page one of this thread, as it gives you the process, but you are now waiting for delivered from then that means your car is booked on the next ship to the UK

Don't think you can order any more now as the order books have closed for 17's, just leave it at the dealers for a month then, as they did a lot of this when the new tax came out

Thanks for this. So I guess you're saying that once the status changes to "delivered from" it'll be on the next ship and I can't tell what that ship may be?

Will I know when she arrives at Southampton?

A week or two from discharged, it should say delivered from, then the car should be loaded on to a Autostar which I think loads Friday and delivers Saturday to Southampton then you will need to chase your dealer to get it up to them asap

I've just received an email from Karen.
My Mustang is due to be built in a first week of June
That's a bit too soon.
Everything was calculated to get it as close to October as possible.

Can I slow down the process somehow?
I know how you feel about this. On the one hand nothing would give me greater pleasure than to pick the car up tomorrow.

On the other hand I'm not quite ready to hand over ÂŁ40k... but the worst part is I told the boss "Don't worry love, it's not coming for 12 months. There will be plenty of time to get the kitchen done".

I may have some explaining to do... :(

Anyone tried sleeping in their car???

You are hugely welcome Nige. I read all your posts and find them interesting not least because you sound like someone who knows what he is talking about. Of course, things will be even more interesting when you get your car :). Don't stop posting.

Once mine left Zebrugge it was only K & S that had any info for me. They were useful though as my dealer was giving me the 'not long now' BS when it was parked outside his window!

Thanks for this post Slowhand. I do have a lot of experience playing with cars and the Mustang will be no different. Hopefully I will be able to offer first hand tips and advice on how to modify or fix your 2015 on Mustang??

I have the GT350R wheel and MGW shifter to go on already so if there's any interest in fitting these I'll put together a photo guide. Really, fitting all these bolt on parts is not at all difficult and with a visual guide anyone could do it. If you can build an IKEA wardrobe you can fit lots of bolt ons to your Mustang!!

Nope don't ignore you at all, read them all matey and echo slowhands comments.

And yeah your second point is true, i can safely say i've never modded a car before the Mustang, and now i'd be hard pressed to think of things I couldn't do, because honestly, most of it is just time consuming but piss easy!

It's the same with computers, a lot of it is getting over the initial "what if I break something". No mods for me for a good while, got to get my bank account happy looking again.

You'll be fine :)
Shadow Edition will probably take a bit longer to build
