My17's look to be being built stupid quick.. The turn around n them at the moment for new orders looks obscene :O. Which makes sense as ford will want them all off for the inevitable jump in production for the 18s.

There's less new orders obviously, probably some cancellations of MY2017, so the waiting list is much shorter (or/and RHD cars are being built more often)

Easy Nige, this is a bit of a dead subject for some - truth is, as soon as you collect - you will forget about all the drama leading up to that point. Ask me how I know! I completely ignored this thread until i ordered again...

Ridiculously quick..

I see the Americans are getting great deals on '17 MY now so they're obviously slowed by less demand, or as has already been mentioned they're building more RHD more often?

I'm glad I got my '17 on the way, I'll bet we're close to the order books closing in the UK now?

So, I had a mail from the dealer yesterday..

"Hi Nige, just checked the systems and it looks like your car is getting closer so you might be in it mid month"?

I replied, "Hi Andrew, actually she arrived in Zeebrugge last Sunday morning and was immediately discharged, so she will more than likely leave for Southampton next Friday so will be on British soil Saturday.At this point I shall commence the process of nagging you to get the car up to Gloucester so that I can place £37K in your hands and drive her away. The money is burning a hole in my pocket ".

As yet I've had no reply...... Mid Month.. yeah right!!

@Kristian87 - Quick question on this. How long after ordering did it take you to receive your VIN?

Just want to know if I should be pestering the dealer as yet.
