I agree. This would be a perfect S650 in my mind. I do miss the lack of a C-Scoop/hockey stick on the S550. I know they were moving the design on, but it's one of my favourite styling cues on the early Mustangs. It would be great if it were functional, but I'd give it a pass even it wasn't. Besides, as it's a styling cue it IS functional.....as a styling element

That won't work, these days you need at least 20 buttons on the steering wheel to be considered relevant.

I fear the s650 will have too much the snowflake generation likes, and as they are the next buyers of Mustangs, Ford would be right to give them a car that fits their ideology.

But for older drivers the snowflake s650 might just be a bit rubbish. But perhaps we don't count?

Horses don’t serve the role that they used to, but there’s still a lot of horse races that are a big deal, and people still enjoy riding horses. I hope it doesn’t go that far, but it’s certainly a possibility. I think there will always be an aspect of controlling a piece of machinery, of two or three thousand pounds of machinery being controlled by very minute movements of your hand… Taking yourself to the limit, taking the machine to the limit; there’s something in our brain wired to enjoy that, so hopefully that’s always a part of it.

It's probably just me but that doesn't sound very promising...
