Complimentary Oil Filter Wrench?

Talked with Ford today because my owners kit didn't arrive. Had the address wrong a typo, so they are reshipping but I asked about the oil filter and wrench. Supposedly the wrench will have the Vin on it. Nice touch, just like owners Kit, something to keep with the car to increase resale/Collector value. In 30 years that might be important

So for us current owners, do we have to contact Ford/Ford Performance to have this filter cap/wrench shipped out? Or how do we know when it will be shipped to us?

I think they are mailing them to us directly. Not sure of anything more than that though. My dealer is supposed to call if they hear anymore.

Don't need to contact them. Just like with the owner's supplement kit, they have all of your info so they will send it directly to you. According to the bulletin the dealers received, the packages should have started shipping out the beginning of this week.

Sounds good man, thanks. Though they were also a few months late with the owner's supplement as well, had Deysha contact them and I had it within a week

Wouldn't be surprised if I had to call them to get it before the end of summer :lol:

I recommend signing up for UPS MyChoice. You get an email or alert anytime a UPS package has been shipped to you. I knew my owners supplement was on the way as soon as the tracking number was generated. I wasn't going to be home on the scheduled delivery day so it gives you the choice to waive the signature on delivery or have it held at a UPS store for pick up.

I got mine via mail, 4/29. Mine came with a new 2017 Gt350 owners' manual supplement, an oil filter and the oil filter cap wrench in a Gt350 insigniaed box. the wrench cap does have my VIN on it. I already had a wrench, so i'll probably just leave it in the box.
