It's not a lack of concern about the environment. It's being realistic about the technologies at hand today.

It's easy, to put an impossibly low emissions requirement on paper.
It's not so easy to meet an impossibly low emissions requirement and do work.
Sure it's easy. All you have to do is "invent the technology" or, "rewrite the laws of physics". ;)

Whats crazy to me is they sold almost 30k V6 mustangs and killed the V6. Why.........? With Trump as president. We should start a bring back the V6 campaign.

Powertrain build complexity and sequencing does add cost. I am surprised they brought it back at all, even to get lower entry price. There are very few things the v6 offers that the ecoboost doesn't provide.

Who knows maybe they will bring it back for S650, though I doubt Trump will be president in 2020.

I would love to see a break down by powertrain, color, and trim.

This would be a very easy implementation at Ford to setup a website with a search function to find production data, this is WEB101, and DB101 stuff. Maybe Ford needs to hire some creative thinkers.

I am curious because I had a really hard time finding "my car" I had to order it.

I want to know how many others out there are like it.

The stick shift is a dying breed. Can't compete with the auto for sped and life span.

I also get that the auto is the best performance transmission going forward. But, I've had and driven some of the best DCT transmissions, as well as the dodge 8 speed. My issue is that the thing I like most about driving is shifting gears. I'm weird like that, so I hope someone always offers a stick.

Did you sit down with Ford sales and have them search the Ford database? I wanted a 2015 after they had stopped building the 2015 model and the Ford dealer searched a 300 miles radius and found 2 hits with every option I wanted. My car came from another dealer a couple hundred miles away with all the options I would have ordered from the factory.

The best resource is always going to be the dealer as they have access to the database that has all the data.

Lifespan on manual transmissions far exceeds the auto.
