I WAS really interested in the AWE system...until I realized it won't fit convertibles :frusty: I'd still love to see a single exhaust setup that is adjustable. Even better, just an adjustable mid-muffler kit since I already have Roush AB

Same boat, I wonder if it can be made to fit?

The Awe system only closes and opens an H pipe. I was a little let down that it isn't a true active muffler system.

I haven't heard any success stories for 3" piping on verts

Yeah I agree I don't hear as much difference from quiet to loud.

I just received the instruction set for the active exhaust from FRPP. The install of the of the exhaust is still the same as the other instructions from FRPP.

There is a second instruction set for the valve wiring, it basically a wiring harness that connects the valves from the exhaust to a control module, and the control module is hidden in the trunk. There are 2 wires, one ground and one that hooks up to the tail light for power. The valves are controlled through a key fob.

Enjoy!

Costs as much as the Roush one without the throttle and speed based control...

Kinda of a let down. I am just going to install my MBRP street system I've been sitting on and be done with it!

That's very disappointing! Was hoping for a much better OEM integration. At that cost i'll pass.

A key fob really? I was hoping for a menu like the one in the GT350. Totally not worth it, would rather go with the Roush Active Exhaust and at least it is controlled through a dial.
