So is blown head gasket still the best guess?

-No leaks
-Engine won't crank
-Coolant is nearly gone
-Oil level is high, oil looks pretty dark/dirty for being 300 miles old
-Can't see any oil on the timing chains, when I changed the oil those were covered

I didn't remove my catch can before taking it in today.
What do you mean by the engine won't crank ? does it physically turn over but won't fire or does the starter just go click click and the motor wont turn. If your oil looks like a milkshake it could be a number of things blown head gasket, cracked cylinder or cylinder head etc. Did the car overheat at any point is this a stock engine without any modifications ?

It tries to turn but it seems locked up. No excessive ticking from the starter. The motor kinda jumps and then the power systems shuts down entirely and the car does a reboot. The car has never overheated.

I don't want to say my oil looked bad, but there was definitely more in there than I put in. It looked darker than it should for being 300 miles old but I dont know what to expect

If that coolant didn't leak externally it is leaking into the engine, if you pull out the spark plugs and crank the engine water should spray out of the holes. I'm sure the dealer will figure it out and let you know what the problem is.

yeah just trying to prepare myself. It seems there's no going back once coolant gets in the engine?

I'm already looking for Ohio lemon law attorneys...

Is the engine stock unmodified to include the tune or calibration?

I never tuned it thankfully... Had a SF4 tuner in the glove compartment ironically. Didn't get around to it. The only engine mod was Bob's catch can

Lucky you:thumbsup: they should take care of you then under warranty. I would however prepare for a long haul and a lot of excuses from them. I lost my Whipple supercharged motor last summer to OPG failure and did the motor swap myself. I've also followed other threads on GT350 owners here who lost there motors to OPG failure and Ford took way to long to get the motor replaced. Good luck :ford:

Service called, they said coolant was found in #3, plug was wet. They said they're going to pull the entire motor out

Rip?

Bought from Lebanon but my dealer Charlie Watson transfered to Beechmont, he told me to take it there. Bought my 13' v6 from Beechmont, haven't had too many problems with them. Kings is the worst

Those are both good dealerships. Mine gets serviced at Lebanon Ford. I agree King's sucks, over priced and poor service. Good luck with your car getting fixed. Charlie Watson is a good guy. He did a great job running their car show at the casino the last few years.

Keep us informed on what they find as the cause of the failure, I find it hard to believe that the MLS gasket would blow on a stock engine. Funny how you read about guys pushing 800 plus rwhp on stock engines then a car with no mods has issues.

I thought I heard that kings and beechmont were both owned by the same parent company?

I know the beechmont "group" recently bought interstate ford in miamisburg as well.

Glad they are takin care of it for you. Good luck!

This is why i wont ever put a tune or any aftermarket add ons to my car until the warranty is fully gone. If you had put that tune on just for one day you would be out 15k just like that.
