So the car is only a couple of weeks old, and there has been a couple of times where when I push start, the engine turns for a good 4-5 seconds before it finally starts. Is this normal?

Battery, I'll check that out. ThanksI had a similar issue over a weekend, plus when it did start, some of the settings for the memory seats and such were reset to default. Turns out I had a faulty battery, which I found out when I got in to go to work on Monday and nothing happened. Replaced in warranty in an hour with no fuss, but might want to take it to the dealer and have them run the diagnostic on it.
Definitely not normal. Never heard mine do that... Battery sounds strong though. Following to see if dealer finds anything........
Agree that it's not the battery ... it cranks over super fast. Something else it going on, have the dealer check for trouble-codes.Definitely not normal. Never heard mine do that... Battery sounds strong though. Following to see if dealer finds anything........
