i'll take some pictures for you this weekend. I also used DEI heatshield on my lines where they got anywhere close to hot parts.Zombie, any chance you have the parts list handy for your AN fittings??
Also, do you have a shot of the routing for the return line from cooler to tranny?
I really like your setup. Nicely done.
As you know the cost of AN fittings adds up real fast that's why I ask. Thanks again.i'll take some pictures for you this weekend. I also used DEI heatshield on my lines where they got anywhere close to hot parts.
I have to look and doublecheck which fittings i used. I had quite a few AN fittings in my parts boxes, so not crystal clear.
Go to moreland hoses out in long island they have two locations. If you go their with the length they will make terminated hoses for you with the AN fittings. It will be FAR cheaper then buying them your self.As you know the cost of AN fittings adds up real fast that's why I ask. Thanks again.
I know i used a straight 1/2" NPT to 8an straight for the return in transmission fitting. I had to trim it down to create enough space for the 90" AN fitting and the trans tunnel. As you know the cost of AN fittings adds up real fast that's why I ask. Thanks again.
Serious. Sounds like it will be the cheapest of the cheap fittings and hoses. I used aeroguip hoses and fittings. I've never had quality AN bits fail. Chinese shit, yes. I'll pay more for quality and being able to size perfectly and adjust. AN hoses are super simple to assemble.Go to moreland hoses out in long island they have two locations. No quality stuff, they make hoses for hydraulics. Thats their core business.Serious. Sounds like it will be the cheapest of the cheap fittings and hoses. I used aeroguip hoses and fittings. Has anyone purchased and installed the FP kit yet? I haven't seen one on the forum yet, but they're back ordered? Thanks for all the detail.
I wanted to start with the FP track pack cooler kit (not the one with the tranny) but it looks like the kit is back ordered. I like the idea of the radiator and brackets dropping in to the factory location and then I just need to deal with the pump, electrical and lines.
This forum is a great help thanks again all.
I have installed mine. Just waiting to swap in the new transmission, which may be happening very soonHas anyone purchased and installed the FP kit yet? I haven't seen one on the forum yet, but they're back ordered?
I was referring to the cooler kit only, not the full swap. Good luck with the install!I have installed mine. Just waiting to swap in the new transmission, which may be happening very soon
