And the cup holders as a result of that, they're offset to the left rather than the right.

I don't know why someone hasn't already come out with a RHD conversion kit. Surely it can't be THAT hard to do??

You'd need to move the handbrake to make room, which really isn't an easy feat to do.
Then you'd need a new centre tunnel made, (plastic so cheap enough). Etc etc etc, it's more hassle than it's worth, and that's before even getting to the "Mechanical" side.

I am very surprised they didnt stick one of those awful electric handbrakes in it.

As for being in the wrong place, have a look at the Honda S2000. Its always on the passenger side, they moved it for LHD and RHD, but always on the passenger side.
