No.

Not in RHD anyway.

If you want one, buy one.

There are about 10 in stock at Geiger Cars in Germany.

I want a RHD, too much hassle being on the other side, more dangerous when overtaking and got to get used to changing gear with your right hand.

If Ford can bring the Ford GT here why not the GT350? Surely the UK and Australian market are important to Ford?

That's a completely different kettle of fish.

The GT is THE halo model and will be built in such low numbers that the tooling costs are almost irrelevant; it costs what it costs.

The 350 on the other hand, is a "mainstream" model and will need to be churned out in sufficient numbers to make a decent profit. The number of buyers for the RHD version, bearing in mind it will need to be ÂŁ65k+ to be viable for Ford, will be tiny. Add to that that they can't keep up with demand for the LHD version and it makes zero sense for them to bother.

Voted yes as I had a conversation with a salesman at the dealership a while back who seemed pretty sure that it was coming to the UK in RHD.

I have always felt that the Ford Store staff have been honest, trustworthy & up to date with correct information

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Not! But still voting yes because I'm an optimistic SOB

I wouldnt be totally surprised if RHD markets eventually get some sort of 'Shelby' badged car... something along the lines of:

GT PP with:

-GT350 body kit and steering wheel
-Roush active exhaust
-Different 20" wheels

and then call it the GT 'Shelby Edition' or similar.

I think Ford will want to tap in to the GT350 halo idea, but im 99.9999% certain they will never devote the tooling/investment to bringing a true GT350 to RHD markets. They cant make them quick enough in LHD, so why bother with the hassle?

You can already get a Shelby badged car in RHD ..... you take your GT to Bill Shepherd and then pay a fortune to have certain parts swapped to create a Shelby. I think they work out to about ÂŁ75-80k and (IMO) don't look very good.

I'm no expert and obviously I'm trying to convince myself the GT350 will happen, but what additional tooling costs would there be? Ford already make 99% of the parts required for a RHD GT350. The engine is based on the Coyote block but the heads (and maybe some of the plumbing) are different, so I'm not sure how that would affect the exhaust manifolds - so other than maybe the manifolds, a deployable bonnet and probably not putting on the strut brace, how different would it be?

Maybe emissions is the stumbling block, maybe it's the business case - but look at every performance variant of a car; it sells. Focus RS, M4, F-Type SVR, (getting more exotic) 911R/911GT3, (even more exotic) F12 TdF, 458 Speciale - a good cross section of prices, none of them sold in massive numbers but they manage to make them all in RHD. Call me a silly old optimist, but I'm still hoping ..... and to anyone who says otherwise .....

I can't see it for the UK at least. The EU with LHD... perhaps a slim chance.

The type approval would be too costly to make it worthwhile. Even though the GT is already over here, they'd have to re-homologate for the 5.2 engine for emissions etc.

Besides, as with all Shelby's, you can build a better car for much less simply by starting with a standard GT and modding with aftermarket parts.

I'm not convinced it will happen for the GT350, I'd have thought it more likely Ford introduce a new version Mustang, like the much rumoured Mach 1 to the UK market

I think you may be right with the Mach 1 but that'll be 2018!

Well, although it's unlike me to post GT350 stories () and although it completely contradicts the story Autocar ran a couple of weeks ago () .... I found this buried on the Autocar website today!

Possibly exciting news, possibly no-one actually knows, or possibly they're just making it up as they go along ...... but I'm getting excited (it doesn't take much!) and it keeps us all guessing! :D

Why would you want a 350 when there's a 500 on the go? ;)
