Lookin' to sell the Mustang now!!!

Payoff on the loan is 41k. Less than a year old, 9200 miles on it, and clearly a ton of work.

Someone should buy it!
you really thinking about selling it?

Dead serious. I don't want it anymore. Wife hates driving it. we both prefer the RS.

Interesting.... What makes the RS better in your eyes? Just curious as I like the RS but for the money you can get a loaded GT

Not getting into it since it just turns into a piss fest on his forum. Either way I will be replacing it with something else like an M2, or another RS so I don't have to fight for the keys to the RS

I know. :-(

I just don't want or care for it anymore. I realized the car really, is for the person I used to be, and not the person I am anymore. I've outgrown muscle cars.

Wow,...that is a surprise. :eyebulge:
Is it because of the RS and how it drives? I thought you loved your Mustang?? 41K is A LOT of cash left on the payoff. Are you looking to sell outright or trade-in?

The RS is truly epic and is a driver's car through and through. If nobody is interested in the Mustang at the payoff considering the mods on it, I'll just keep sitting on it for another year till I can get out of it.

Damn. My only other Roush conversion friend around is considering doing the same thing. :( I can completely understand though. I've had a ton of fun in the vert and no regrets on all of the money I've spent at all. I do love the 350 a hell of a lot more, but financially I'm just not interested in spending even half of what I did on the vert.

There's a guy who was actually trying to buy my vert from the guy I sold it to but he wouldn't budge. Considering our cars were alike in many ways, I can pass this thread link over to him for you for whatever good it may do.

If you are of the mindset that you want out of a car because you've lost interest in it, you will find a way to change sooner rather than later. A year is a long time to sit on a car if you are making payments on it and don't want it anymore.

I hope it all works out for you, whatever the next car may be!

Good luck with the sale!

I felt much the same way about the ride and handling when I bought my car, but because I had owned several Mustang prior I knew that it would feel big, heavy, and handle like a pig up until the point I removed the factory suspension and installed a proper setup tuned to my driving style. If you aren't comfortable taking a hair cut on the sale, you might want to try removing the factory suspension for something geared towards performance and adding some chassis bracing to help offset the lack of a roof. You may fall in love again with your Mustang! Either way, good luck moving forward it has been fun watching your build!
