this has nothing to do with my Mustang but, if you see the update in my signature and avatar, we are taking delivery of our new 2016 Focus RS tomorrow. Luckily enough, a few things can swap to the RS from the ST.

been a while since any updates. I'm kinda thinking now with the arrival of the RS that the Mustang just might be "done"

I'm still thinking about doing a GT350 manifold, but the same money would be an intercooler or possibly exhaust for the RS.

Not anything to write home about, just did an impromptu shoot with my Stang and the RS. Both cars are filthy - especially the Stang which has mud on it and overall hasn't been washed in over a month. The RS obviously still has numbers on the windows from autocross a few weekends ago, so it's not exactly clean.

Believe it or not, shot with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone, and tweaked in Adobe Lightroom.

Love the Rs2 conversion. Glad you found something that keeps you going. I lost my son to hlh and my wife lost her mother to breast cancer. It's tough but hang in there.

:lol::lol: Totally different ride, but somewhat understandable. I'm guessing it probably depends what mood your in as to what is more fun. Nice to have the choice! Enjoy!!:ford:

Realistically my next car needs to be something thats razor sharp like the Focus RS in feel, but significantly more true sports car than lazy pony car. Short list would be Sting Ray, F-Type or a Boxter. Shoot, maybe even a GTR.

Leaning towards Sting Ray because lower price, v8, and targa.

I love my convertible, but ive given up too much to chassis flex, and frankly the Mustang feels huge.

I feel ya. My Mustang is in the shop HOPEFULLY getting fixed sometime soon and I originally had a Focus for a rental car. While definitely NOT a RS, it reminded me of how heavy the Mustang really is. The 'vette is a lot of bang for the buck, but I recently had a chance to track a GTR and it is an amazing car. If you get a chance to drive one, go for it. It might change your mind....

Lookin' to sell the Mustang now!!!

Payoff on the loan is 41k. Less than a year old, 9200 miles on it, and clearly a ton of work.

Someone should buy it!
