Loving it so far. Unfortunately, it seems the center console USB port barely charges my phone while Android Auto is running. I wonder if the hub "needed" for iPhones might be needed too to charge other phones such as mine.

I had the same issue before I got my hub..The hub is way faster to charge since it's powered by 12V

Got my single USB port for inside the console today and popped it out with a mini flathead, snapped in the new one and everything works perfectly! Woohoo!

How did u guys disconnect this cable? I've been pulling on it but it doesnt wanna come off. Is there something i need to press to disconnect? Dont wanna break anything. Thx in advance!

That black u shaped tab needs to be depressed before pulling. Use the end of your thumb and fingernail together and then it's easy to remove. Best of luck!

I just checked and Apple Play works in both my armrest or front ports with the HU5Z-19A387-A (which arrived today, and works great).

You are correct, I went and double checked. I guess I didn't wait long enough the first time for CP to initialize. Much better.

The one thing I *can't* get to stick is re-arranging the icons. I can move them around on the phone, but as soon as I exit settings, my changes go away and never show up on the car's screen.

Where are you guys ordering this single hub from a few places I checked showed it was discontinued, and does only the single hub version work for the apple car play? Don't see much talk about the 2 hub adapter being used.

Actually, there has been a lot of talk about the 2 hub adapter. Ithis works, but it makes the USB on the dash useless.

Oh ok so to keep the one by the dash working you have to get the single then. Gotcha, now I'm just trying to find where I can order it.

So to use the car play once I get the single hub do you have to plug into the new hub in the console or the one under the radio for it to work. That console closes tightly wasn't sure if there was room to close the lid with a cord running out to my phone.

You order the single USB that replaces the one in your console from the vendors listed on the first page of this thread. The single has two USB connections, one feeding the USB port under the radio. Also, you have a notch in the passenger side of your console to allow for phone cable to easily pass through.

You also have to download Sync 3 Ver 2.2 , also available on the first page of this thread - follow the video instructions and you should be all set.
