Motul Motor Oil

Concur. Did basic troubleshooting and found nothing. Want to wait until oil on order arrives before I go any further. Hoping for best but preparing for the worst. Winter down period is helping with patience. Looking to coordinate with a dealer so that everything can get addressed at once, i.e., recall, driver side window sounding like it's 1/2 way down; 2nd gear rattle...

What was your type of driving on the ~1000 miles since the oil change ? My oil consumption depends a lot on my driving and I have seen half a quart going away after several hours of track day. Not several quarts though..

On the oil question, my dealer has used the Mobil1 peak life 5w50 as the Motorcraft is not easily available here.
As we discussed before, will be very interested to know what solutions you find to the 2nd gear rattle and window sound as I have both now...

Driving included the "drive-by" we did to the Ring. So, mostly typical Autobahn and Autoroute with a little daily driving on this end. Has mostly been garaged since November. To date, I've done two oil changes, both with MC 5/50. Harder to get now than before though, which why I'm trying to find out about Motul.

On the 2nd gear rattle, I'm still in search of a dealer I can trust vice one that says "Oh yeah, just drop it off and we'll get back to you...sooner or later" Will definitely keep you posted.
