Sooo, that was a scary experience indeed.
Some of you recognized my car/my (very anxious) face š .
For those of you who know the Ring, itās already very impressive/dangerous as a driver, but being a passenger in your car with a very fast driver was another level of adrenaline and stress.
If you...
Thanks a lot. Very likely indeed.
Now I need to find a way to order it (Iām in Europe and rockauto does not have the part :).
regarding the symptoms, did you notice anything beyond the clutch sticking to the floor (and how often) ? Mine does it randomly every week or so and once I press the...
do you have any update on this WCKD350?8
Recently started to have my clutch pedal sticking to the floor and I need to press it several times to make it work properly again.
No other sign of clutch issue.
could it just be the clutch helping spring ? Iāll try to remove it completely and see if...
Hey! Itās a Twinbush that I installed a year ago and no problem so far. But I had the Twinbush team install it for me so they could check everything. And I will likely ask them for a frequent check over the years.
Hope you can find your issue soon ! Those lifts are both amazing and scary :)
Also went with the cheap fix, removed wheel, cleaned interior of wheel center (important), and then I personally torqued it back at 200N (150lf/ft).
No issue anymore - worked on all 4 wheels by the way.
Running 305/30/19 square setup on OEM wheels (Steeda dual spring rate springs)
not sure those pics will help in any way, but with a good geometry, the square setup plus firmer springs transformed the car.
indeed did not know that, thanks for sharing.
update
In the end I went back to the road test center and they were nice enough to have another try on the shock test platform.
Not sure if it was because the other day the car was not properly centered on the platform or because brakes not properly...
Interesting thread - to be confirmed tomorrow but I likely have a leaking magneride shock (front) on my GT350.
I have a dilemma if I need to replace it, because my car now has 50,000 miles (of spirited driving and a few track days).
would you advise me to change only the faulty shock, or both...
Hi everyone, been trying to find a thread on brake pads options but did not.
here is my issue.
As some of you know, I own the car in Europe and accessing some parts may be challenging.
And now it seems to also affect brake pads as Iām being told by my local importer that OEM brake pads are on...
I'm personally not specialist but find this link VERY usefull to understand the basics:
http://racetrackdriving.com/car-setup/track-alignment/
"On a road course front toe primarily affects eagerness of the car to turn and mid-corner understeer/oversteer balance. A car with front toe out will...
Iām āEuropeanā and also owns a fully modified track V8 M3, so I can compare.
and yes my GT350 stands up quite well in front of the M3. Of course now with 30k mods in the M3 itās more capable (itās also fully emptied so weight is lower).
but comparing both stock (I did 100kkm with the M3 and...
After reading a lot, and for track/mountain roads use, Iāll go for
- FRONT : slight positive (0.06) TOE IN, helps reduce understeer
- REAR : some positive TOE IN (0.2) helps increase back stability under exit acceleration or braking.
Would love to try some toe out at the back to see how...
