Well guys, after much deliberation, I've done a deal today to trade the stang in for this. gonna change the 1st week of January.

Not going to go in details on costs etc, got slightly more then I said on here last week, but got a good deal on new car.

I'm gonna miss the stang for the noise and looks, but not the quality, ( 3rd puddle lamp just went titts up yesterday )
I still get a buzz when driving it, but I have to be sensible and boring for couple of years.

I still say this is the one of the best forums I've been on, and I've been on a few :)

Got to look after number one first mate, it's a car at the end of the day.

Those new edges do look very nice and I hope it brings you more luck than that mustang has. I've had lemons before and the feeling of contempt for a car like that is strong.

I'm utterly petrified my wife will get back next week and hate the mustang and want it gone. Fingers crossed she can learn to drive it and not kill herself!

Tack.

Do like those Edges.

I'd like to say I'd have one if I was in the market for an SUV, but after my experience so far at the hands of their dealers, they can lick my balls.

Try not to cook/crash this one.

We talked about the Edge at Maidstone; my choice too when it comes to changing the Mondeo. Don't be a stranger and bring the Edge to some meets if you feel inclined, be nice to have a closer look. You were a pioneer, and provider of much entertainment, much like the Hammers. Take care.

Must say I would like a Edge as a new car for the wife, and as much as I want one, when I specced up the sport with the extras it was ÂŁ40,000 odd and dearer than my mustang.

Can justify the money on the mustang but not on the Edge.

Will keep an eye out for you in Tilbury mate.

I'm not a fan of.. well, anything like that but it IS a looker. That big wide rear light band is great. It's chunky and purposeful and I remember having a nose around one thinking "I could get used to that"... which is really odd given my dislike for the genre. In any case, enjoy it. Nothing wrong with that!

Sure will,

I like the Edge. When they come down in price I think we will have one for the sensible car.

Hope you pop in now and again.

I will come to a couple of meets if I'm invited, mustang will always have a spot in my heart.
