Couldn't be bothered to get all the car washing stuff out tonight so on a dirty car armed with just the hydrosilex and one grubby microfiber towel this is the result

mine came today, do not apply in direct sunlight so I'm going to wait until this evening , might give the fridge a go though :D
Am I right in thinking that postage took around 5 days? Hoping mine arrives tomorrow so I can get it on the car Saturday morning before the hosepipe ban comes in on Sunday

Ah well, green and pleasant lands and all that.

I'm a bit confused as to why they announced it in advance over here, to be honest. This week I've seen loads of people taking the piss and filing paddling pools etc. Doesn't look like my Hydrosilex will be arriving in time either, which is a shame.

Thank for that, Bob. Good idea about the distribution rights, they'll need to address that at some point anyway if the UK market is worthwhile for them.

So looking at that you've got to import hydrosilex from the states?

I'd genuinely be interested in this if someone can let me know how long it lasts before the beading starts going to tosh. And by that I mean, on a car that's just been regular snowfoam/2bucket cleaned and this sprayed on not one where this has been applied post wax/polish/clay bar sessions. :)

That's all I'll be doing, Steve. I'll let you know how it goes.

And yes, you currently have to import from the US. The product us £25.90 and the shipping is £7.90.

I think we all (those that are using it) want to know that too - but only time will tell :clock:

The USA forum has had mixed results with it - as you would always expect - some love it - some dont
(the guy who snowfoamed with an entire bottle - didn't see value for money! he he:crackup: - and some will always prefer "their" product)

Its a bit of a lottery as (as far as I know) it has had limited use so far in the Mustang community but...

I like it - as it gives a smooth finish and a great shine and it (so far) has lasted for two weeks - and 3 washes

Even if I only used it post wash / wax etc- I would still see it as worthwhile

Yeah, I hear what you're saying. I went into Halfords to get a couple of wash mitts a while back and it's full of products like that.
