, I do wonder with expensive cleaning products whether it's snake oil though, in asda last night I saw some carplan No1 shine for £10, (it's £6 in wilko) and thought. hmmm.
I used to have that feeling too, but some really are great in terms of durability, but that's the annoying thing, finding something that lasts, I've got a spray on sealant that lasts 3 months at the moment baring in mind I clean the car every weekend that's not too bad going. If I clay and wax before it'll last half a year easily but that's mainly due to sealing the wax in.

The stuff that is snake oil is when people are paying £20 for a bucket and shit like that.

I thought that when in halfords, a mequires bucket at grit guard was on offer , think it was about £19 for the two items , went to home bargains and bought a new bucket there instead, there must be £15 profit on those

Funny you should ask, Bob. I had not one but two orders turn up yesterday, neither of which was supposed to be mine =D

Both boxes had a label on with my address, plus another label with the address matching the paperwork inside. I've emailed them because I'm honest, but if I don't hear from them today I'm going to be trying it out after work and I'll let you know how I get on.

that is what makes a company fail! - the product may be fantastic - but shite stuff like getting someone else's order is really bad! IMHO.

I guess mistakes happen though for every company

Interested to see what you think - I have seen loads of (USA) reviews - it seems the wet application needs to be "exact" - whereas the dry application is simple - spray on - wipe off=.smooth shine

BTW - I got caught in the most horrendous thunderstorm - the rain just beaded on the car- and fell off ... not perfect by any means - but pretty pleasing!

Yes, it's not ideal to be messing up orders, but it's even worse not to respond quickly to someone who has offered to help correct the problem.

Anyway, I'm encouraged by your thunderstorm experience, and I'll definitely be trying the dry method as long as the rain holds off while I'm doing it.

I used some of this last night. It was far from ideal, but I'm pretty pleased with the ease of use and the results. When I started washing I was rushing it because it looked like rain so I did a pretty poor job, then the blazing sun came out so I was fighting a losing battle with water marks. I lost my rag in the end (literally and figuratively) because I was getting nowhere and was hungry so skipped to the Hydrosilex.

I applied dry (ish) to the paintwork which came up very nicely and there was some dew beaded on there this morning which all fell straight off when I started moving,

I'll do a better job of cleaning it at the weekend, but I'm impressed so far.

WARNING! - This stuff is addictive!

Kinda off topic - We have an American style fridge / freezer- which looks basically - dull and uncaredfor ... so as the sun has disappeared for a little while ..... and nothing better to do...

I got the clay-bar out and gave it a go - it cleaned up well - but not "great".. So I thought - try the Hydrosilex! what a fantastic result! - - even the wife noticed!

next came the cooker- then every other damn surface I could find - as I said ---- addictive!

now I need to order more....:D:D:D

BTW- the Mustang is still shiny and smooth!!!
Equally off-topic, but I don't suppose you tried this on a quartz worktop did you? Would be great around the sink, but I'm not quite brave enough.

Ha! - no not Quartz - but my missis did do the granite work top - came up a treat! ... and of course it repels the water splashes etc too ...
BUT I think it is too slippery now! (round the sink is worth a go)

Back ON topic- it is still holding up on the Mustang - and IMHO looking good!

Hasn't been washed for a week, but still beading off quite nicely.

I might try it on a bit of quartz in a dark corner then!
