I actually don't care about Sync 3 as my car has nav. I wish they would refine the current Sync 3 control a bit better. I want more customization of the home screen instead of the default information. I don't care about seeing a compass. I wanna be able to adjust some of the climate control without going to a different menu page.
Also they need to upgrade the indash display interface too. That thing is so ancient. There is so much more can be done to make that display work better.

Sync 3 Nav home page doesn't have the compass... the homescreen splits in half and shows the map. Are you sure your Sync 3 is programmed correctly?

That I think you are right. I was thinking about the 2016 I had that didn't have nav but still.
I don't care about my current phone status.

True.... The home screen can be modified with an OBD Programmer to have heated/cooled seat buttons and a heated steering wheel button, but that's about it. Right under where the phone status is...

This is why USPS almost went bankrupt before amazon started utilizing them for package delivery. I wouldn't be so frustrated if they were accurate and transparent with their delays. Crap happens, its the holiday season, I get it but your customers deserve to know where their packages are and not assume they're lost. Rant over lol

Seems incredible that they would lose the same part in two different locations, that was expected to be delivered on the same day in two different locations, at the same time...

Especially since they are barcoded and expected to be somewhere. I could see them losing non-tracked mail, but if their system doesn't throw flags up for packages that THEY KNOW never arrive where they are going... I think I just found my fortune, and it's in programming.

I got the non-nav updated on mine over the weekend. Works great on my android phone

For those with other 2016 Ford models I've successfully installed the Sync 3 2.2 update on:

2016 Focus RS without NAV - Switched out in console USB hub and confirmed Android Auto and CarPlay
2016 Edge Sport with NAV - Android Auto confirmed waiting on USB hub for CarPlay testing
2016 C-Max with NAV - Android Auto confirmed
