NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

So I attempted to reinstall the update to my Non-Nav unit today that is still reporting as v1.0 after a seemingly successful install a couple days ago. I first did a factory reset this time. I get the following message after about 5-10 mins into the part one install now. Everything is still working great, including AA, and I tested pretty much every feature in the SYNC interface. I will probably just need to wait for the official Ford release and try installing that and see what happens. Not too worried about it right now since everything seems to be working perfect.

I didnt verify it. I can only find this one link to try downloading it again here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxRZS2AdVcHWcEZzNDlwX0hBcVU. Do you have a different link to grab it from? The original Dropbox link is dead too.

I don't remember which link I finally found that wasn't blocked at work. I think it was on the RS or f150 site...

all I know is the non-nav md5 checksum should be: 7ef063cc41276783c066737e39ba95f8

If yours doesn't match that, download it again. Either the file was corrupted or somebody tried something malicious.

I downloaded from that link and the checksum matches what you posted. I will give it another shot with the new download.

Well I re-downloaded the update, verified the checksum, and still getting the same error ERR03. Guess I'm stuck here until Ford releases this update to see if that installs ok and version is updated.

Mine wouldnt show version number until I had it check for update, and view system info or something similar to that.

im usually the one who ends up getting screwed with stuff like this. are you on v1.0 of sync?

I did the download, updated it and everything works fine. Not sure why everyone is getting crazy over AA.
I ran it for 1 day and turned it off.
I use the car for audio, phone for waze and phonecalls. It's asking too much of your phone to do everything.
Also once AA is hooked up once with the cord, it fires up via Bluetooth every other time if you set it correctly.

Both USB ports work!

Front USB port does not

Install is easy, I used a plastic small pry tool to pop out the top side then slid the USB hub out. Unplugged the harnesses (gray power harness / rear USB harness (black) / front USB harness (gray). Reinstalled new USB hub using the power harness and black USB harness, gray USB harness was left hanging! No splicing.

I reinstall part 2 of the update, waited 5 minutes and now it's showing v2.2!! However the gracenote version shows as blank now not sure what that is.

Turn off your car and let the system shut down. Then turn it back on and see if that fixes the gracenote thing. I had a similar, issue with Navigation not giving me a version after the initial reboot. I rebooted again and all was good. Oh I also checked for automatic update via wifi.
