:D Serious? Man, I told you way back when you were waiting for Travis's TT, to wait longer but you changed your mind and went with KB. Still a great SC, but you will love Turbo. It's the best F/I IMHO.

Sounds like he's here for the new single setup, I'm sure we can argue the finer points, and search through old posting to say gatcha. If you want twins, go for it, if you prefer a single...your in the right place !

Looking forward to more information on the system :)
ageed wasnt going after anyone just stating that i distinctly remember his comments before.

yes each have a specific best for X application or goal. there is no one size fits all we all know this.

the whole "twins kills top end" comment kills me. lots and lots of people would disagree.

Agree !

We're all here for the same reasons, our love of cars, mustangs & forced induction (power) !!!

I tend to go through vehicles quickly, so 8K to 10K+ for some of the other FI options, just about stop me in my tracks. We will obviously have to wait and see what entails, base system vs what is actually needed to make it go Hissssss....... : )

Most of the big power supras out there ditch the stock twin turbo set-up for a massive single turbo. As far as I know, for maximum top end power, single is better than twin.
Supras also cant fit twins larger than a comparable gt35 unless some new design for mounting them has come out.

kills top end? are you on drugs try tell the hellion or other twin turbo guys they kill top end.... :tsk:
It's not entirely uncommon. Smaller turbos (single or twin setup) are more susceptible to what some call "light speed" meaning the turbo(s) have reached their maximum effectiveness and there's no more power to be gained from the generation of charged air - regardless of increase in turbo RPMs. Otherwise known as too much motor and not enough turbo.

With your large single turbo setups, you're more likely to see the traditional inverse issue - too much turbo, not enough motor. lol.

And here I was starting to think "time to sell my stock headers".

Curious as to how to make this work with long-tubes.

Maybe Boost Works will have a header option after kit development is finished up with the stockers

But having a turbo that is bigger than your engine is cool.
Cool is subjective. The only thing that should really matter is what hauls ass and what hauls less ass. Having something just to have something for bragging rights is a waste of cash. Having something to make you win and hurt feelings, that is what its about. Winning is what is cool in my book. What isnt is having people be envious, jealous, riding your nuts, because they think something you have is cool. Someone having appreciation or what youve done, that is entirely different.

With that said i prefer single kits. If twins is all thats available id have to settle for it.

I'm excited to see a single turbo kit hit the market, especially for $4995. That's gonna get a lot of peeps attention, gonna take a chunk of bidness from a lot of FI vendors, and raise the level of competition yet again.

I was just about to buy a Paxton right after Christmas. I may have to rethink that purchase.

In order for this to use stock manifolds, will have to do away with cat on driver's side. The easiest way to achieve this, without cutting and welding, would be to swap out driver's side manifold with one from a 2011-2014 mustang. Then you could go with this type of setup, to direct exhaust towards the front. Hopefully will have dual wastegates, to help control boost creep.
