Its gone in for a full detail and PPF and stripes fitting dropped it off saturday morning won't get it back until probably friday ready for the drive down to maidenhead.

it is indeed so happy with the colour as at the time I ordered it was DIB then they changed it to LB but the pictures on the ford.co.uk website made it look green :( at the time there were no pictures on the internet of LB it wasn't until I got mine that I first saw it in the flesh. Needless to say I was panicing.
Anyway once its been fully cleaned I'll get the camera out and get some proper pictures of it been holding off until it'd been done as I didn't let dealer clean it to avoid sandpaper monkey destroying it.

Really want to see that in person you know, I wanted a colour that flicked between that, and a midnight blue in a wrap (it was a custom frozen blue)

it does appear to be a kinda pearlescent colour it kinda changes from almost a pastel blue to a really bright metalic blue to sometimes quite dark depends what type of light its under.

Under the direct sun its bright blue under my cold white (6000k ish) led house lights it looks identical to the 350r pictures which I think you said was "liquid blue" but according to fords press release was lightning blue but tbh I don't think anyone knows what colour they are really

Ask your detailer to take some photos, too. They're usually willing as it shows off their hard work........and the cars always look superb under their indoor lights

I believe Liquid Blue was only a show colour for Ford.

A lovely colour. There was one in the yard when I first saw mine (with a smashed wing mirror, so it was looking to be still there now.. :( ). It came too late for me, but with the 2018 replacement for DIB we're kinda being spoiled for lovely blues...
