So I'm on the fence on which exhaust I want to get. I love the MBPR-just don't know which to get? I use my car as a daily driver so dealing with a loud drone isn't ideal. The deep roar Of both sound awesome, but some videos of the street sounds way to raspy for me. Could it just be the video?

From what I've read the street has no drone and sounds great while the race has a drone but also sounds great haha

What do you think???

I have the Street, It's loud and sounds good. Not much drone, to me anyway. The Race, from what guys say that have it, is LOUD, like HOLY SH*T LOUD.

I also have the street in cat back form and could not be more happy. It is loud and I don't have any drone. It is also my DD and I highly recommend them for anyone who wants the sound and functionality on a DD. I have heard the race, also cat back. Yes they are extremely loud and a bit raspy to me.

Had the race. It's not loud. It is deep, but definitely not that loud.

Quality and fitment aren't the best from MBRP but that's why they're cheap.

The Race does drone.

Only consistent reviews on both that I see, I have the street, is that the street is raspy which is an individual taste (or not), and the race having some drone but that's usually folks that IMHO think it's ok to be in 6th gear and doing 55 where the RPM range is going to drone no matter what aftermarket system you have on the car.

I find MBRP quality to be very good, I was very please with what came out of the box if fit and finish.

RACE is loud and drone prone I hear. My MBRP Street is fantastic. Gives me that low muscle car rumble I really wanted. Have some videos in my signature link.

I'm using the MBRP Street as well. It sounds great with very little drone. I may look at resonators after I add headers though.

I run the MBRP race stainless. Yes it has drone. But I have to lugg the car under 2k in 6th. It's loud, but not overly. Supposedly it's loud enough you can hear it across my apartment complex (according to the girlfriend). It fit great. Better than the magnaflow kit i've installed before.

Your best bet will be the Street system as it has very minimal drone and sounds nice and deep when you get on it! We also have a Loyalty Savings going on for those MBRP systems as well! Just sign into your account and the pricing will be discounted automatically. If you need any pricing or availability please feel free to shoot me a PM.

What did you dislike about the magnaflow?

We had to trim it to fit due to hitting the sway bar on the drivers side. The pipe was too long. And this was a brand new car my dealership built for Mustang Week. It had 20 miles on it. Definitely wasn't the car, or install error. We looked at it multiple times. Tried to flip the X pipe. Nothing working. Ultimately we got it on and it worked just fine. But the irony is that my car was on the rack across the way as I put my much cheaper stainless MBRP kit on, and it went on in half the time.

Mine went on real well when I first installed it, and when I added the headers later, it bolted right up with no problems at all.

I bought the street with about 1k miles on it and have had it for 6k miles. After 5-6k total miles on the system I noticed it had deepened. The rasp has diminished probably 40% at the lower range of rasp-inducing RPM and the exhaust overall is louder than when installed. I think it sounds great. Loud, but quiet when needed. It has a tolerable drone between 1500 and 2000 RPM.
