I was just curious as to what power the guys with hellion kits are making on stock blocks? I am doing a hellion kit with twin 62s and a 6r80 swap in the next week or 2. I'm just looking to have 800-900rwhp on e85. What should I upgrade in the stock block if anything to get to these power levels? I'm also on a little bit of a budget until I sell what is currently on my car.

800 seems to be the highest safe mark on e85, others have hit 900 on higher octane fuel but there seems to be quite a few who think that 900 is a little too much for stock block.

Also there is quite a few threads out there comparing all of the TT vendors and the pros and cons of each I would take a look at those discussions as well as you are going to find all of the answers you are looking for along with quite a bit of helpful information you didn't know existed.

I've read through all the hellion threads and couldn't find much about stock motor and reliability. I was thinking it would be 750-800. I'm probably going to end up doing rods and pistons to get a little more out of it. Thanks for the info I'll keep searching.

On 8psi/93 octane you'll make 650 since you are a manual, 10psi will make 680+, 14psi will crack 800 on e85. Those numbers are guaranteed with a Bjonnes tune, can't speak for any other tuner. OPG's & CG are all you need for safety, good luck.

I'm doing a 6r80 when they install the kit. The car already has a fuel system, opg, and crank gears. The car right now makes 725/570 on e85 with a little P1 and 6 rib ho kit. I'm going to stick with TSS for the tune because I know they have done several as well. Also one more question. boost leash or eboost2? I'm leaning towards the boost leash but I'd like to hear other people thoughts. Thanks for the info guys.

I don't know anything about eboost2 but I've heard it is nice. I really like my boost leash, easy to use once you figure it out, you can set a launch psi, run multiple stages, and ramp in the boost as fast as you want to. If you get a BL I'll help you figure it out.

Thanks what would be the next thing to upgrade if I was wanting a little more power? I doubt I'll ever want over 1000 but a safe 850-900 would be good. Would you recommend sleeving the block?

Looks like I need to start saving some $$$$. Lol thanks for the input. I'll probably just get used to this power and the auto for a few months. Build the motor and trans some time next year after I sell everything that's currently on the car.
