4800 MSRP plus the cooler stuff plus install (or do it yourself), I believe. I'm still trying to get confirmation of what exactly is in the two kits.
It looks to me like the two kits combined, the transmission being one kit. The cooler, duct work, lines, and other hardware being the other, is a complete fix. Nothing else needed. If you choose not to buy the transmission, you will also need a pump and the correct lines to connect the pump to the transmission and cooler. I would assume you could modifythe lines they give you with the kit and only need some short lines to terminate to the pump, transmission, and cooler under the car. Hope that helps. I personally am going to buy the whole kit because I'm OCD and want the car to look factory underneath. I don't want to tap into wiring for a pump or have to put holes somewhere to mount it. I've been down that route when no other options were available. I have other options this time and like them better. To be honest I really didn't want to modify this car at all but have to.

I've been Reading through the last 10 pages or so and im a little confused i guess. Did they release a kit for (around) $4000 thats plug and play?

M-7000-M8S Transmission Assembly 2700-2900 <List$4800.
M-7095-M8S Transmission Cooler Kit Less than $695

Basically less than $3500-4000 for a 'plug and play' complete kit.

The Cooler kit uses all the factory parts from the TP/R. These two numbers give you everything to install it in the car. The picture shows you both parts numbers ordered together will get you.

I only have pricing on the Trans (official because it is released) The Cooler parts are basically what you could buy everything from a Ford Dealer directly We have two that Sponsor the Forum.

Can someone please PM me when you have successfully placed an order for the cooler kit with or without tranny? I just want the solution and not the BS.

Thanks!
You need to talk to Isaac at Ford Performance. 800.367.3788. He will email you a request for information and you will need to designate a dealer or FPP vendor to buy the kit through. FPP will review your information and authorize the sale iff everything checks out. Apparently, they want to limit sales to the tech pack owners only.

I think the ducting comes with the kit as well. From what I've read.

Nobody's engineering is spot on. Nobody can think of everything. And no company can afford to test every possible failure mode that an engineer can think up (my assumption at least). I'm not attacking you - I'm just not comfortable with driving around nearly every day with a car that might dump oil on the ground unpredictably. I believe that Ford's system has been tested much more thoroughly than you or I could ever test our ideas.
I understand. If daily driving were my goal I would have done it similarly but probably used a higher quality pump that is quieter, braided lines, and a thermostatic switch. My goal was 100% function because this is a track/show car for me and the occasional weekend toy. I have a vehicle for work and a vehicle that is AWD and much more comfortable to drive around. This is where the budget price point came from. Most drives I go on don't even get the trans fluid over 150* with my new oil. I would price a better solution as closer to $1000. It's too bad the only "engineered solution" is to replace the whole transmission. I couldn't stomach that cost. I'd probably let my stock one fail first, because why take out a perfectly good trans?

I honestly believe I could change the tune, changing where limp mode comes on and be fine. Kind of like the earlier suggestion, although he was joking, that said move the temp sensor. I doubt my trans would ever fail with the rare track time and minimal street abuse my car will ever see.

Honestly if you'll never see track time I would enable the gauge via Forscan and switch to the BG fluid. If that doesn't work at least you tried and can report back. If it does you spent less than $200 instead of thousands.

This from Fords website all the lines, clips nuts and bolts and cooler for an R model vin with anybody street price. Let me know who wants to order it and I will get firm pricing. The FP solution is a better deal but I do not find out until Monday if the cooler is even a good number yet or when it will ship. I have had pricing on the transmission for about a month.

If we continue to see nice weather I will do that and see what happens.

What is the BG Fluid? I must have missed the post about that.

today I drove about 50 miles and the tranny got to 195 having a hard time w another 4k w/o labor. I was hoping for a 1500-2k fix. doesn't make sense to charge the same amount as the factory option when we are not getting the rear diff cooler???

very frustrated w ford and how long this is taking to resolve.

This is the fluid I switched to.

I didn't get over 172* on 100 mile drive in 63* ambient, and one time it actually even went down. I think it works, worth a try, and it would be nice to get more people testing it.

I know you're bored over there in the sandbox and are enjoying trolling this forum for entertainment, but you and a few others have managed to turn this entire sub-forum into a sink of negativity. Frankly, I'm tired of it. From the reaction of others in this thread today, I can see I'm not the only one.

And for the reaction of others that actually OWN, PAID FOR, SPENT MONEY on an effected we feel the same about you and the other guys giving us you irrelevant opinions about how Ford didn't screw our cars up to begin with, then further gave us the middle finger with the crappy attempt at a non-fix fix that calls out warranty into question.

But your concerns are noted.
I thought about my last post and just wanted to be clear and say that in no way did I intend to denigrate your service over there. I don't know what you do and it doesn't matter, you're over there for all of us and I appreciate it. Thank you.

$2750 is my cost as of 10/3.Typically I like to see $150-200 on something this size to cover my costs, so I say 2700-2900(What people may have paid and what I would do it for). If we could get a few guys to commit I can go back to my supplier and beat him up more. I do not have inbound freight so if you are not FLA local what ever Fed-x Ground for about 120lbs is to your location if it comes from me. The possibility exists that FP will ship them direct but not sure at this time. I am getting updated availability hopefully Monday.

I have no intention of getting rich off them and the bigger FP dealers will always beat my prices because they can. They do exist and are official. I think it is more of a contract supply issue with FORD and Tremec to forecast production and service support so they have to limit the supply. You can buy them direct from Ford but they have a $1000 core charge which your old transmission May be accepted as a core. From Ford they are only a few hundred dollars more. And you could get that locally.
