To the track pack transmission??? So how does that help the tech pack tranny?
If you don't do the trans as well you also have to buy a pump and lines to adapt to that pump.

Exactly, it doesnt. You're paying $700 for a cooler and mounting brackets (<$100 aftermarket). As pointed out in my earlier posts, the FPP fix is closer to $1300. Almost 3x the cost of doing it on your own.

I plan on buying the transmission as well as every other factory part from the ducting all the way back to the trans. Did I read it wrong , would I not be getting all of that buying the transmission and the cooler kit? I can get everything for at least 25% off if not more. I'll post up when and if this stuff truly becomes available and what I have to pay. I love my car and have no intentions of selling it so I want it to be done just like a track pack car. I saw first hand (as have many others) how much abuse they can take.

Buying the two part numbers should supply everything needed. Or so I was told.

Went to SEMA today but did not learn anything we do not already know. They did confirm that if you buy the tranny and cooler kit you will get a complete track pac setup. Totally noncommital on diff cooler, reading between the lines, it sounded like that would ybe a long time coming, if ever. They downplayed the need for a diff cooler if you only track your car occassionally.

Ford's solution to this, as expected is very disappointing. I'm fairly sure I won't be keeping this car very much longer. Will probably not buy another Ford because of this.

Edit: That sounded extremely whiny. Better off making your own kit than wasting 4-6 hundred on just a cooler and brackets. Shame you have to give up your warranty because Ford doesn't care to make it right.

Yes, if you are buying the trans and cooler kit it is everything you need. Don't forget the fluid.

I asked FPP specifically about the warranty and got a curious answer. He said there was no warranty but if I took my car to the dealer for problems, it would be handled by like any track pack car. Maybe I should handle the install myself and play dumb if any problems develop.

I would get that in writing. Let's just say I'd be skeptical if this is how it was handled.

looks like someone snapped a SEMA photo or similar of the cooling kit sans pump and hoses. Definitely looks like a 16 year old could have got the parts together and gave it a part number in 4 hours.

If you take the time to read the owners manual, under warranty it states bascially coolers are recommended for track use. So if you are going to track it, put coolers on it. It may not prevent a denied warranty claim (legal ass covering) I have an issue with the 'warranty' posts. They don't void the warranty, they may not cover a repair if it is proven to be caused by a modification or operation. How many GT350 transmissions have had any issues to this point? I understand the frustration with tech pack cars but the voiding the warranty issues are a little unreasonable.

If you want to keep your warranty and not red-flag your Shelby don't put any kind of tune in it. The engine is the only thing Ford does not want to pay for.

As far as FP offering a rear axle cooler using factory parts, I understand the issue. The modules in the car are specific and programmed as is wiring. It is not plug and play. Yes you need a rear axle cooler, ask any '16+ GT PP owner. If you want all of it I have to say buy a '17 otherwise build your own and enjoy your cars.

*The control of the rear axle cooler pump is tied into several items on the car, adding it to a car that did not have it is impossible without massive changes, BCM, ECM wiring etc are all different.
