I'm on the fence between the Gibson and the MBRP Street stainless cutbacks. Anyone have an insight between the 2? I just don't want DRONE. Thanks!!

Most report drone with the Gibson, and very mild to no drone with the MBRP Street.

No drone system with similarly deep and very aggressive tone is the Borla S-type catback.

I have the Gibson and do have some drone but damn it sounds great. If a little drone irritates you then I would look elsewhere. For what I bought it for I couldn't beat the price.

I don't have any experience with the Gibson, but I LOVE my MBRP street system. No drone at all and you can keep it relatively quiet when needed or loud when your foot is in it. I always had Magnaflow on my previous Mustang's and F150's, but for less than half the price, you can't beat the MBRP in my opinion.

mbrp street drones between 1500 and 1800 rpm, which you rarely will be staying in more than a few seconds. it sounds great and after about 5k miles it's opened up even more and has actually continued to do so. It's got a nice deep growl and the rasp has diminished quite a bit. I'm using an H pipe.

I love my MBRP street. No drone to speak of that would actually bother the occupants. I've heard good things about the Gibson system, too. Both probably represent the best bang for the buck in this market.

I run the MBRP stainless Race setup. Love it. It has a good noise and not too terrible drone. If you lugg the car under load heavily it will freak out. Otherwise it's good to go.
