I just got reliable information that the cost of the kit (can't be ordered quite yet) will be $425 + shipping. This is about $125 cheaper than ordering the individual components assuming all those components are in the kit.

What's an AN line? The tranny/cooler only uses 2 tubes.
The stock cooler lines run directly to the Track Trans, but if you use an external pump you will need braided lines and an external mounting point.

I also sent a request to FP last night, and got the answer that the kit was released yesterday. The price I was given by FP on the kit was $695. I also got the same info that a 12V external pump (they recommend Weldon 9200) and 6 AN lines will be needed. I assume this means that they include brackets as well as all the wiring needed to install along with any electronic components such as fuses, switches or relays and detailed instructions as to how to install and exactly what parts are needed outside of the kit. That's one of the follow up questions I want to ask. I appreciate that Ford would give us the option to buy some parts ourselves rather than charging an additional markup on them in order to keep the kit inexpensive.

FP said that the kit will not be marketed. I'm not sure whether this means that it will not appear on the FP website?

I have a few more questions for FP and I will post here again once I have that information.

I am going to SEMA on Tues. Will see what I can find out from FP while there. I am so sick of this I am ready to order a '17 but if, after all this time, there finally is a kit forthcoming, would rather go that route.

Thanks to all for the additional info.
I just got off the phone w Isaac at FP. 2 options- full OEM with internal pump in Track/R transmission or the "kit". If going w the transmission, you also have to get the "kit". I didn't get into specifics on the kit as he took down my email and sent info.
This is not being marketed and is available based on VIN. The part number I posted yesterday will NOT be update on the website.
I did ask about the diff cooler and Isaac said engineers are still working on it but could not definitively say a solution would be available due to the difficulty with integrating it w the CANBUS...

Hi James,

Information we will need:

VIN :

Name:

Phone Number :

Parts requested:

Preferred dealer:

Dealer Phone (If not a Ford Performance Parts distributor) :

The part number for the cooler kit itself is M-7095-M8S MSRP $695
The part number for the transmission is M-7000-M8S MSRP $4,800

If you are only purchasing the M-7095-M8S, you will need a 12V external pump and 6 AN lines. A pump similar to a Weldon 9200 would be ideal, with wide thermal operation capability, and a similar flow rate.

Although, local race-prep shops may have experience and suggest other pumps, and fitment capability if your Ford dealer isn’t interested in installing the pump in your GT350.

Great info, I imagine aftermarket companies will copy and include pump to make kit complete. I have yet to see my trans get above 199 on the street in my 16 tech pack, even with "spirited" driving up to an hour on my commutes, but will probably do the upgrade anyways some day.

That's great about your trans temps, mine would spike to the mid-230s'low 240s especially when coming off the highway over the summer.

On a side note, met a guy and his father from Las Vegas who said they never had limp mode while driving in the 110s or higher...

This is what I got this morning.....

Ford Performance says:
It does not include a pump. You would have to source that elsewhere, or the transmision comes with an internal pump.
USMC0341 says:
Yes I understand,want to purchase M-7095-M8S
Ford Performance says:
Okay, in order to do that you can contact [email protected] and/or [email protected]. The reason for this is that we will not sell these parts to anyone other than tech/base package owners so there is a short ownership/approval process.
