I was after a deeper tone than stock, but not too harsh. After tossing between the Roush Vs. Borla I finally made a decision! Purchased my Borla S ABs from Fred Vogtland Mustang. Very professional and friendly service - Fred even dropped the box at my place as he was worried it might not fit in my current car. Now all I need is the Mustang to get on the Figaro…
How much did that cost?

In the order of ?? maxing out, much less in normal driving around town or highway cruising. So you can live with it nicely on a day to day and comes on strong when you extend the rpm same with the ATAK.
Fred, I see that you edited your original dBa rating for the Borla S axle back. Any reason.

Thought it best not to post it publicly as it may attract the wrong clientele who are noise enforcers in our nanny state. Happy to discuss outside of forums.

I've decided on a Borla S-Type. Yay!
Hopefully it doesn't sound too bad on an auto :)

What exhaust are you going for now, Allan. I guess i mentioned earlier in a post, your exhaust will change to ATAK by the time your car arrives but looks like you changed mind even before that :)

Hi Kaps, it was more a style change as we decided to go with the GT350 valance with quad tip Ford Racing by Borla axlebacks. I did like the sound of the S-Type but I am keen for the look of the valance.

Can't walk away from that valance once you see it and say I want it, I tried and failed miserably.

I've been wondering/trying to find out if any other 3" off the shelf exhausts will fit or be suitable to match up to the valance if my supercharger dream becomes a reality. Corsa Sport Quad tip is ideally what I would like but haven't found a solid answer yet, may have to go custom or modify what I want to suit.

I tell you Ed, the huge cost for this valance rattled me but I keep looking at your photo posted a while back and its definitely got the better of me. My wife finally said yes and now I dont know if my shaking is excitement or just me crapping myself with another big outlay...:lol::lol:

From what I have seen on photos the GT350 valance seems to have built in sleeves for the pipes, if so then I would think only 2.5" pipes would fit.

The Roush and TrueFiber (below) have just an opening and will fit the Corsa quad or the Magnaflow quad (from CJPP). Note the Corsa is a bit of a fake in that the original Sport/any exhaust has a Y piece to spilt the single tip into the twin tips. I still love it though!

The sleeves, or ports, should take a 3" tail pipe without any clearance issues from what I have seen in some square on to front photos.

Shameless sale spruik - I've got a Livernois/ Airaid CAI in the aussie classifieds section if anyone is interested... Combine it with your new exhaust to really open it up.

So Borla Touring it is then.

Fred is getting back to me on Monday to confirm the order/delivery ETA but warned that Hurricane Matthew could slow things down a bit.

Nice choice, interesting to know how much louder than stock it is. I'm tossing up between the S type and Touring.
