Um, our stangs aren't that long, I always park about 1 1/2' from any curbs, can't risk any marks on my beauty, lol.

Has anyone done a comparison of the Curb Alert Mini vs. the Brandmotion Curb Alert PRO?

Back in parking. Cars come standard with them for the most part. That's what I do

When I used to live in LA in the city of Santa Monica every single municipal parking garage was head in parking only, and if you backed in you could get a nasty ticket. Didn't really make too much sense really.

Anyway, I always stop short of the curb. Lots of inching forward and praying you don't touch the curb.

Guys, all it takes is once; happened to me 2 weeks ago, pulling into an angled parking space. Ran the spoiler into a high curb, right on the point. I've seriously been considering getting the sensor that is on American Muscle's site.
Thanks for being a voice of reason in a group that apparently never has mishaps...

I am coming from a Veloster Turbo, so super short wheel base. Sometimes I am 50 miles from the curb. The pic was in a tight parking lot and was picking up food with a co worker during lunch hours, so not much time to search for a parking spot. But usually when I go to Target, I park out in the edges and walk in, close enough to cars to make it look like there was a car next to me, but not far enough to make it look like I am hording shopping carts to make a protective barrier. That is the closest I have come so far to any scrapping.

Just bought a Brandmotion Curb Alert PRO of Amazon for $121. It runs off switched power, so I bought a micro2 fuse tap. I may do a write up when I get around to installing it.

OMFG you people who think the answer is to back into a space!!! Holy crap how many times must people post here that backing into spaces is not always feasible????? So all of you back into your spaces every single damn time 100%???

It's not such an abnormal request to look for a solution to this.

Some people need to get down off their high horses (No pun intended).

I think it's because quite a few people here responded that backing into a space is the answer when it's not always feasible.

Kinda like when Steve Jobs said the problem with the iPhone antenna was 'You're holding it wrong." This thread's equivalent is, 'You're parking it wrong."

So I have been parking wrong the whole time. Reminded of the South Park episode. We're doing it all wrong.

Apparently you and I are the only two people that don't back into parking spaces.

Really? This helpful response was already mentioned in post #8 of this thread, and even had a pic.
