I just got the estimate for my damage so idiot backed into my 17 and put a hole in the bumper cover 2600.00 in damage. He was nice enough to stick around so his insurance is covering the damage. I will say my girlfriend kept me from going to jail!!

I'm with ya man! Honestly I would have been mad if someone came in to say they hit my car but at least they would have owned up to it but instead some dick head just decided to drive off. It's hard to explain but this car is the closest thing my girlfriend and I have to a child (I'm 23) We love the car and we both felt like throwing up when we saw what happened. It could have been a lot worse, thankfully no one got hurt, but damn am I pissed about it

Sorry. Hate unhonest people. My Boss 302 got backed into in a one way angled parking lot. 85 year old church lady tried to back 180 degrees the wrong way not understanding how the lot works. She was so upset and scared she would lose her license but she was honest. They came in to the restaurant looking for me. It was a dark parking lot, I probably would not have noticed. Karma is a bitch, they will get theirs.

We do what we can to prevent things like this. On a daily basis, I'm more worried about door dings. Sucks that something worse happened to you man. Hope you get it back to 100%.

Anyone see the video of the guy with the Ferrari 458 Speciale who was parked parallell at cars and Coffee and a woman managed to BACK OVER the front of his car? Yep, crazy things happen. I couldn't imagine the feeling that guy must have had.

Jesus. I apologize for not reading every post in the thread, but is there more damage than what's just on the front facia? Another $2.2k to fix that on the hood too? I'm even more confused and it might be just that there's a lot more to this than I've read, lol.

Yeah the front bumper, headlight, and hood are all damaged. The headlight broke a bracket, btw a new headlight is $1,300. To replace the stripes on the hood and bumper are about $1,600 and a new hood minus pain is $2,200.

Ahh ok. Gotcha. I thought the only hood damage was just the little chip so it sounds like it's a lot more than just that then. That sucks man. It's so crazy how a tap of a car could result in so much money in damages.
