track i was at is just starting back up after some troubles. no timing lights and that night track prep was nonexistent (they let cars run for free).

im hoping next weekend (not this one, plans have gotten in the way) to take it to either Texas Motorplex or Royal Purple and run at least 1/8mile. ive never driven on drag radials much less full slicks so the wobble and weave at 70+mph takes some getting used to.

im still on stock converter and stock manifolds/cats. id love to run a low 10 but my goal for this car is to have the PD blower record on here (except for kelly from BMR and his ridiculous 8.9). i know there is some stiff competition though.

next spring some upgrades go into the car to make about 100whp more. my car is about 700 or 725whp (havent put it on a dynojet but in 105F with high humidity on a mustang dyno notorious for reading low it made 650whp) and datalogging it last night after a belt swap, it was still wanting to add a few degrees of timing. very conservative tune. Kenne Bell sure does make a hell of a blower.

Seems like most think D is better than S, but what about drive mode why s+ and not track.
Track seems to be the obvious choice. How do these compare to normal?

I use track mode personally. By turning off TC it also reduces the torque management for the low rpm launch. Have to be careful tho as that can result in spinning easier.
