Two more questions if anyone has done this yet... how does the filter come off for cleaning? Installation is one thing, but periodic cleaning is another. Should one buy oil from the mfr, or is it a generic product? I have a lot of experience re-oiling K&N filters with their branded kit.

Thanks.
Also interested in hearing about this exact thing. I like to keep a spare on the shelf for any consumables.

Also interested and about how long I should wait before cleaning. Just until looks dirty? I want to order a second one to have on standby.

No not chirpping I break the tires loose and have to let off because of car start to drift to the left side. I just did it on my way to work and when I got tune aswell. Your tires must be in better shape than mine. Lund flex tune..just fyi

What catback? Seems we have similar mods. I'm running amsoil and have car lowered with some other minor Suspension stuff
My Goodyear G2's have 2/32 of tread left out back. 0W-40 Pennzoil Ultra Platinum full synthetic.

I have the solo performance Mach Thunder catback and full Steeda suspension with Koni shocks and struts set at 1.25 turns, front and rear.

My only guess is your tires are better than mine and also I have gt350 wheels that are very light. I have my Shocks and struts similar. I think I did 1.5 from full stiff. Koni yellows..

How much better is the PMAS than JLT or Steeda? Is it that big a difference that i would feel it in the seat of my pants? Steeda looks soooo much more aesthetically pleasing, and i could get my Magnetic color with JLT. I have decided to forgo what's left of the warranty on my 2015 for some Lund powah! But can't decide which CAI. I know it has been beat do death, but i guess i am just looking for something to push me one way or the other.

I think there are several good CAI's. I have the Steeda and never had any complaints. But I hear good things about the JLT and the PMAS also.

I ordered a PMAS with Lethal Performance's 10% off discount last night. Still curious where I can buy an appropriate replacement filter to keep as a spare?

Also can I reuse the cleaner/oil for K&N filters that I already own?

I see one potential fitment issue (for me). I have the JLT 3.0 oil separator, and moving the coolant tank over an inch might make the it rub on the separator. I'll have to tinker around and see if I can make some space. I have access to a machine shop so it might a simple matter of a making a modified relocator bracket. If I could get away with less than an inch of movement it might work.

They are all within a few hp of one another and all the big brands make a good product. Steeda, JLT, Roush, PMAS, are good choices. They all have a different look too, so if your engine bay is going to spend any time open keep that in mind. Some of them are super ugly, I won't say which ones, and some look great. Personal preference.

As it turns out I should have room. I took the old tank loose and moved it over an inch. HOWEVER, I have a critical question now. The tank has a locator/support tab on the back. How does the mfr handle that? Please tell me they don't relocate the tank without support in the rear! If so, that is a disqualifier for me. There is no way I will purchase it without knowing an answer. I'll shoot a question over to PMAS, or maybe someone can answer that for me on here?

The back tab hangs loose. Not needed though. It mounts solidly and there's no point of failure.

Thanks. I think going from having support at the back to simply hanging it on bolts on one side is a very bad idea. Assuming you have one on your car, does the tab now sit behind the slot? The reason I ask is because it would be simple to fab up a support to give it proper support. It would be a little annoying to buy a new product and then have to fix it, but I could do it.
