I had stainless works longtubes, x pipe, and roush axlebacks. As loud as that setup was, it had absolutely zero drone. You can't tell me that my $85 x-pipe caused drone when I'm the one driving the damn thing everyday.

Only reason I added a magnaflow x-resonator is because it was pissing off my neighbors.
My 65 dollar X pipe and roush droned and I'm telling you

After watching the video Roush posted today, I have a sneaking suspicion that they are using a Roush tune to achieve the additional pops, bangs and crackles not normally found on the other X Pipes.

Edit: My suspicion was confirmed, the cars in the video are running a Roush tune. The Roush X Pipe sound is artificially better because a tune is causing the added sound effects.

I just installed Roush axle with my H pipe. Had Borla s-type on before. I have zero drone! I can barely hear it anywhere from 60 to 80 in 6th gear. My Roush use bought use with 3k miles on them. I have some pop and crackle but want more like the video. So when can I get the Roush tune?

It's not a tune specifically for the Roush X Pipe, it's just the regular ol' Roush Performance Calibration tune. The snap, crackle and pops is grey advertising, the only way you'll get those additional sounds is by buying a tune. Any tune and any x Pipe will net you a similar sound to what you hear in the video.

My roush ab's with xpipe crack and pop like that on rev's. The key is knowing the difference when an engine is in Park or neutral revving away and realizing it wont sound exactly like that when driving it.

It's not the Roush Tune, lol. My GT had all sorts of angry burbles, cracks, and pops when I just had the axle-backs and FRPP X-Pipe on the stock tune. The sound profile didn't change at all when I added the Roush Tune.
