I can absolutely recommend it, the axle back complement the install of X pipe. Exact set up I run, removed AE .
Buy from Roush they deliver , and you're sure to get a fresh & complete product.

Got my steeda axle back on sale from Terry for $500 and it sounds really good to me. Don’t know if I’ll add a mid pipe since I plan on going with high flow long tubes in the near future.

From what I've seen and heard on YouTube, the Roush axle back combined with an X-pipe will be one of the louder cat back setups you can get.

this is what i always hear and i have it on mine and it is quite loud. i like things on the louder side though.
but advice for you OP-you're going to get a lot of contradictory opinions when asking "what's the best." too subjective. listen to clips of different setups. i made a few videos of mine at various times when i was changing my exhaust. below is a clip of stock manifolds, roush x, roush axle back cold start and i also have one with revs as well. so that's what that setup will sound like, there's tons of other clips out there too. im not going to say this is the best, that's too subjective, but i like it and im happy with it.
Axle backs really come down to what sound you like the of the most. How much louder are you wanting it to be? Tons of options to go with.

All I can say, considering who & what Roush does day after day. Suggest to me, as an after market part resource. Chances are real good what is purchased will enhance the Mustang.

The roush axle-backs are amazing. With pretty much any xpipe including the corsra double xpipe.

I ordered roush axle back last August and it hasn’t arrived yet. I called roush to verify and they said it won’t arrive for another month because everything was in backorder. I like the sound of roush but idk about waiting for almost 4months.

Sometimes, the wait is worth it. The fact that it is Roush you are assured it will be delivered .
